Re: TNA's obsession with Stables.
Yeah, TNA should learn from history. Heenan Family, Four Horseman, nWo, and DX just don't work.
Especially Nexus, everyone was happy after Nexus failed.
People enjoy predictable one on one fueds. All this stable non-sense needs to stop. From the start, this Aces & 8s thing hasn't sparked one bit of interest among fans. TNA should end it now. People don't want stable, they don't want invasions, they just want well booked one on one matches.
Kaz and Daniels are gold!
Zema Ion is gold!
Bobby Roode's title reign was double TNA's usual ratings!
TNA will always see the rise of King Mo and Kenny King!
TNA... Please... cut it out with the stables. You just make yourself look dumb doing so.
*Rep doesn't matter to me, but if you enjoy me posts please rep me. All proceeds go to charity. No Joke.

^................................I feel like I snored a load of coke after reading that confusing post. And please tell me you were sarcastic about the Heenan Family, Horsemen, etc.

Re: TNA's obsession with Stables.
I'm getting sick of them, tbh. And so are casuals, judging by the ratings. Bischoff and Russo are one trick ponies, it's sad.

True, but the whole storytelling is based on stables over there.

Re: TNA's obsession with Stables.
It got annoying for a while....very annoying.
It felt like TNA spent most of their time trying to recreate the nWo and it got increasingly worse with each attempt. It got to the point where I was just sick of stables in general.
Aces & Eights though....much better execution. It doesn't feel like an nWo ripoff, mainly because they don't open up every show with a 20 minute promo with 18 guys piled up in the ring. There is also a lot of mystery surrounding them and it isn't just the bad guys jerking off to themselves every show. You don't know when and where they are going to pop up and even who they are, so they seem dangerous. Hopefully TNA's big reveal of who is behind it and what they are doing results in something big.

SCUM, "the band" and aces/eights.
Every year there's a new stable in every wrestling company.

Re: TNA's obsession with Stables.
There is nothing wrong with them regularly having stables, providing they get a proper payoff to their storyline, it just gives the writers another storyline option to work with besides solo and tag team feuds.
The weight of numbers factor with a stable also gives the writing more flexibility in who is used, they can use it to elevate or introduce people or just to use people who would otherwise be jobbing, which potentially means they don't need to use their stars quite so heavily.

Re: TNA's obsession with Stables.
If that's the case then WWE should definitely learn something from TNA...
WWE fans including myself are dying for a good faction to be presented.

Re: TNA's obsession with Stables.
The wwe has had some stables with potential, but they almost always seem to fail on the payoff to the storyline part, then again that is also true of a lot of their other storylines too.

Re: TNA's obsession with Stables.
I like stables so I'm ok with TNA's obsession with them.
