According to sources, WWE star Christian is no longer scheduled to appear for TNA the day before the Bound for Glory PPV at TNA's first ever Hall of Fame ceremony. Highlights of the ceremony, which will feature the induction of Sting, will air the following night on Spike TV.

Per the agreement between WWE and TNA to allow Ric Flair to appear at both the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame and Wrestlemania 28, Christian was originally scheduled to make two appearances for TNA. He appeared at the Slammiversary PPV back in June and it was made very clear at the time that he didn't want to be there.

Christian remains out recovering from recent surgery on his shoulder.

We hope to have more soon.

Very interesting if this is indeed true. WWE and TNA made a deal; I wonder how this will play out, especially considering their current lawsuit battle.

The last I heard Luger was inducting Sting so I guess it's true. I say good, I feel like Christian left TNA stranded after his run in TNA did wonders for his career. It pretty much rejuvenated his career, until he returned to the same old WWE cycle of staleness and injury.

No, Christian appeared on the same PPV that they announced Sting to be the first inductee.

The whole situation with Christian at the PPV was awkward because he could and couldn't do certain things and he really seemed as if he didn't want to be there. So i'm glad that they are backing out of this Christian appearance. How this end of the deal gets resolved will be interesting to find out. There is always Booker T.

I'm not sure why so many people feel like Luger is actually inducting Sting. He is one of the featured guests for Sting's ceremony, along with Hogan, Dixie Carter, and (presumably) Christian. All that means is they will all be given time to share their sentiments on his career. Nobody knows at this point who is officially inducting Sting or if any one single person will.

Maybe they have it planned for those significant few to share their thoughts on Sting and then just have an official announcement and acceptance speech. Nowhere has it been confirmed by TNA that Sting will be officially inducted by any one person in particular. Just thought I'd clarify that, since I'm seeing so many people with the wrong assumption here.

I never even thought that he will return again. His appearance at slammy was fine, no point in bringing him again.

This time, Hogan [biggest enemy & ally] or Flair [he gave him his first HWC title] should be the one introducing him.

havent been in the loop, but if theres a hall of fame, should jarrett and aj styles be inducted before anyone else even gets a look at, if they are already in or going in the same time as sting then nm what i said, just saying

Styles has too many years ahead of him. With Jarrett not being inducted, he's still my wish for being the Aces & Eights leader. It makes all sense. That it would completely piss off the Prichard sheep on this forum adds another pretty nice touch to it, too. :cool2

aj could be a current wrestler whose in the hall of fame, thats something not done before i can remember, and i dont count guys clearly old in hall of fames anywhere claiming that and aj has been there since day one and hes the reason for at least 60% of the fans of tna

I like Christian, and I'll admit that I stopped watching wrestling pretty much completely after the attitude era for about 7 or 8 years, but from what I did see, Christian was pretty much fodder for mid-carders the whole time. I'm surprised he'd be so upset about helping out TNA, it seems like they were the ones that really gave him his big shot. Sure, when he went back to the WWE he probably made more money and he did get the title twice, but let's get serious here, his title reigns were arguably the crappiest of all time. At least TNA booked him with some credibility.

Christian was definitely confirmed for BFG at one point, but the case has probably put an end to that. I just recalled someone mentioning that Luger was the one to induct Sting. I actually think having Luger induct Sting is probably the best idea anyway. The fact that they ere best friends throughout their careers would be a nice fit. Too bad Flair is a fucking alcoholic and he could have been there to see a good show. On a side note: Flair's actions are very disappointing to me.

Segment was pointless, yes. He didn't want to be there, he already confirmed (but we don't know the reason why). The reactions on the other hand were pretty solid. Could have been better, because Hogan ruined the moment by announcing him in cheesy fashion.
