Kurt Angle: $1,000,000 downside/receives a merchandise bonus/travel and accommodation paid for/maximum of 10 dates per month
Holy FUCK if true, this like heaven for Kurt, no wonder he stays in TNA, they treat him and Hardy like kings.

Re: Recent TNA Contract Details

Can't believe this is true.

If it is, then Daniels is being woefully underpaid. Okay, I'm a bit of a Daniels mark, but they guy has been, along with Bully Ray, Bobby Roode and Austin Aries, carrying this company for the last 12 months - he's been making Impact must-see TV. Yet Mickie James makes about the same? Kaz only makes 20 grand less? RVD and Anderson make so much more?

Okay, the list could be BS. And even if it isn't, it's reflecting their supposed value to the company when they signed the contracts. Still, if I was him I'd be super-pissed off.

-Sting is a legend but he can easily be cut down by $100,000-$200,000. Spread that between TNA guys.
-Cut Anderson by $300,000 and spread it between TNA guys.
-Cut RVD by $200,000 and spread it between TNA guys.

Surprisingly I think Hardy's price is valid.
This, 100% this.

Anderson and RVD have no business making a $600-700k downside in TNA. Let them keep their merchandise perks and cut their contracts by 300k a piece, definitely. As far as Angle is concerned, it's no surprise that he is the highest paid guy in TNA (aside from Hogan of course), but 1 million is no longer justified. Give him a $600k contract with perks and a light schedule when he resigns. Hardy's makes sense, yes. But too many guys in TNA are grossly underpaid or overpaid.

Also LOL at people who used to think the knockouts could barely eat and only made $200 a match and blah blah blah, when in reality they're doing better than the divas in WWE based on their much lighter schedules.

^^ All of this post is assuming this information is at least close to correct, of course.

Hey guys. My pal got a hold of some TNA info!

Note 1: There was no information received for the likes of Hulk Hogan, Dixie Carter, Bischoff, and Jeff Jarrett. We have to assume that their contracts are tied up in the corporate end, and not through the system that pays performers.
Note 2: Very few TNA performers get generous "WWE style" perks such as first class travel and hotel comps.
Note 3: TNA do recieve merchandise cut bonuses, these are noted where applicable, although exact figures were not made available to us.
Note 4: As you will observe, TNA downsides are MUCH lower than WWE downsides.
Note 5: Kurt Angle and Sting both have contracts wherein, they are only required to work a certain amount of dates per month.

Abyss: $344,280 downside - 2 year contract
Austin Aries: $145,310 downside - 2 year contract
Bobby Roode: $275,000 downside - 3 year contract
Bully Ray: $305,200 downside - 3 year contract (this is believed to be his previous contract which expired last month)
Chris Sabin: $144,500 downside/receives a merchandise bonus - 2 year contract
Christopher Daniels: $183,000 downside - 2 year contract
Hernandez: $174,220 downside/receives a merchandise bonus - 3 year contract
James Storm: $268,470 downside/receives a merchandise bonus - 3 year contract
Kazarian: $141,000 downside

Matt Morgan: $350,000 downside - 3 year contract (this is believed to be Morgan's previous contract)
Matt Morgan gets more money than all of these names above. Besides his new contract should be even better. Fuck this company, what did Matt Morgan ever did to recieve such a salary ? He does not draw, he is not interesting, it has been tried 344393489 times to reinvent him so that he becomes credible and over, still isn't.

At this rate TNA really deserves to go bankrupt.

Re: Recent TNA Contract Details

Austin Aries renewed his contract to win less than 200... sure...

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

Re: Recent TNA Contract Details

Jeff Hardy makes up for his. In fact, his should be the only contract over $1,000,000. The rest should be no where near that, tops $700,000.

Re: Recent TNA Contract Details

Comparing AJ, Daniels, Kaz, Storm and Roode with RVD and Anderson.. it just feels so wrong. Well its TNA's business and they must know better.. but IMO, just get rid of Anderson if not both Anderson and RVD.

Only if this info is correct.

Sierra. Hotel. India. Echo. Lima. Delta

Re: Recent TNA Contract Details

If this is true:

- I'm glad too see that Gail has another year on her contract. Hope she won't ask for her release before.
- Angle earns a shitload of money, but he's still worth at least as much as Hardy. I don't see him to be worse than in 2006, he's still the man.
- RVD needs to be cut, Anderson drastically lowered or cut (though I like the guy).

RVD and Anderson is not worth that price tag at all.
