i mark out just knowing Ion was getting a big guy ( big in name ) to face.
now i am not a rvd fan but i think this is best for him and helps tna the most. some may be mad that he has not put over a lot of guys but think about the one he did roode look what that did for roode.
now i think had rvd put over more going in to that i think it may have took away from roode and what he got from it.
Quite psyched for Zema vs. RVD actually. If RVD brings his working boots it could be a great match and I've honestly no idea who's gonna win so the near-falls should be ace.
I think I would have a higher opinion of him if the actual X-division was worth a damn right now, it needs to have a more consistent roster and not simply a revolving door of random challenger of the week matches which just diminishes the division and makes the champ's reign less memorable.
He is still a long ways off being main event ready. I don't see him as being a World Champion in this company but that doesn't mean he does not have a place and a future in TNA.
Attack and "injure" RVD, forcing a match for the interim title between Ion and whoever. Ion wins and defends the interim title a number of times before RVD returns at Final Resolution, where Ion wins the undisputed title.
Then BAM! Out comes Jesse Sorensen...
So, I just booked Ion for the next five months. I'm gonna have a snack.
Hes a solid character with good in ring skill. Hes a modern day Rick The Model Martell .
