TNA Impact ~ The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly:
~ Al Snow vs Joey Ryan program being signed, sealed, delivered for BFG.
~ Bully Ray gets a big win & inserted as Sting's partner.
~ Samoa Joe's push continues on.
~ Zema Ion establishing where his character is going.
~ NO new developments with Jeff Hardy vs Austin Aries
~ Majority of BFG build isn't very special.
~ Zema Ion floating around.
~ No X Division Championship match hinted at yet.
~ King Mo's pointless segment.
~ Knowing Matt Morgan is back with TNA.
So overall not a bad show. More underwhelming in quite a bit of aspects than anything. Yet it had moments for me to "mark out" during. That being Joey Ryan vs Al Snow. Which established the match perfectly. Got it's own segment, fans were into it, and it showed that this near 6 month program will have some form of a payoff. However, I really think TNA is just waiting for BFG to get here. It's obvious they feel most of their matches have enough hype and build minus the Sting/Bully vs Ace's & 8's tag. World Championship match had NO new build. They were used purely to build up Bully Ray. Zema Ion got some exposure. Showed that he's gonna be injuring guys as his gimmick. But, no opponent yet. Or any hint at one. Joe vs Magnus is randomly occuring. Roode vs Storm had nothing but a useless segment with the nobody "guest" enforcer. Knockouts was standard build. Tara owned Brooke and proved that the teacher still has the upper hand over the student. Tag Titles had another match just to preview it and nothing more. Don't get me wrong, I liked the majority of the program for what it was. I thought they could have enhanced some things a bit more. In terms of building for their biggest show. But, I'm being redundant. Everyone on here knows that isn't the strongest atm. Might not matter. BFG has potential to be a good show.
Still looking forward to seeing what TNA does with their go-home show. Maybe a surprise hook that we'll have to tune into Bound For Glory to see? Hope so.
