You guys must be from the UK or something LOL have no idea what gas prices are like in the good ole' U.S. let alone all the other bullshit going on with our economy. It's that bad for some/lot of us. Sadly, supporting TNA in a year where they have offered us some of their best stuff... I just can't. Even though this IS the night to show out and pay for BFG I do agree.
we're paying more than £6.40 / $10.30 a gallon here for gas. whats it in the US?

I'm paying even though I don't support the current direction and I don't have much money. PPVs are cheaper here though.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread

PPV is a concept far past its time anyways. It's a dead business as the internet has evolved. Companies realize this, yet they don't change. PPV buys will continue to decrease, and it's not just wrestling PPV buys obviously.

People will always do what is in their best interest. It's human nature. Some prefer ordering the PPV and watching in Hi-Def on a big screen, while others know they have easy access to free streams. It won't change.

I'm streaming it tonight. I live in the UK, so I'm not waiting until later in the week.

UFC can still get one million buys for a big show. Wrestlemania last year got the biggest buys ever. I don't think it's so much a date concept as it is that the product is just over-exposed. People will still pay for big shows. They just won't pay for any show.

That being said, does anyone know what the official hash tag for the show is tonight? Is it just #BFG or what?

Two very different economies but if you're saying that it's hard over there as well; trust me I believe you. Gas is just under 4 bucks here per gallon.

My point is I hate how some people pull that card out. "IMA BIGGAH FAN CUZ I PAYED FO DUH PPV!!!"

Damn.

Go you.

Apollo0813, interesting view point. Makes sense.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread

I won't lie, I'd love to order the PPV but if I can find a good stream then I'll watch it. Not that TNA doesn't deserve it but $40 is a lot of money and like someone else said if its the PPV or a tank of gas then I know my priorities.

Do I really have to say anything?
