BS? Jerry appears for no reason on TNA (again) after destination X and gets a rematch because he fucked up? compared to storm vs roode or the aces&eights mystery that's poor booking. I'm surprised they didn't bring another ex ecw guy for RVD this year since he's such a ego maniac he can't wrestle young guys without going over. I'm starting to believe BVD is going to win the x division title.

You forgot joey ryan? that's some short memory span right there, he has been interrupting gut check and taking jabs at al snow for a while now. But hey opinions are opinions, there's a lot of russo marks out there that would love him to come back but I'm not on that club.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread

@ TNA marks thinking this event will be successful. They've put an unmotivated spot monkey in their marquee matchup against one of their best talents for their best prize, and are making a 'redemption' storyline over him being an unreliable drug addict who needs the belt back to be absolved. Righteo. Then you have this inept Roode/Storm feud that had concluded in April and serves absolutely zero purpose to still be going on now. If TNA were serious with this 'feud' at all, they'd have kept the title on Roode to give an ultimate payoff, but didn't want Storm anywhere near the title, which is a wise decision.

The tag title match is a shitstorm waiting to happen, I mean wow, AJ and Daniels in another match together. KO match is going to be a piss break that will be easily forgotten. Joe/Magnus is a waste of time, RVD/Ion is a waste of time, Ryan/Snow is a joke to professional wrestling, and the Aces and Eights storyline is that painfully obvious that chimpanzees could have written the script. It really looks like the blurst of times for TNA.

I'm sorry but for someone that has Smackdown as their favourite show, this is ridiculous.

"Ryan/Snow, a joke to pro wrestling"
Team Friendship rules

Which match should open the show? I'm going with chavo/hernandes vs aj/angle vs cd/kaz
Final 3 by order:
- Aces&8's vs TNA
- Storm vs Roode
- Hardy vs Aries

I agree with the tag match, either that or RVD/Ion. That could really work up the crowd.

Ah Tony, still as clueless as ever I see. I actually watch both companies, and I find this PPV to be horribly built up, and the big 'hook' angle is painfully obvious to see what will happen.

SmackDown > TNA. Disagree as you will, but lol at nitpicking because I've expressed views contrary to yours. Oh noes he doesn't worship dah TNA's~!~!~!

An indy scene useless joke of a wrestler against a fat, old, slow useless wrestler taking up TV time to create a 'feud' and then waste 5-10 minutes of time on the biggest show of the TNA year = joke to professional wrestling. Which is nothing to expect from this company, but I thought even they had a limit.

Perhaps I'll be wrong. However, given TNA's track record, I will most certainly be accurate with my assumptions. The TNA fanboys will froth over all the goings on, I'll have a good laugh at the ineptitude of WCW-lite and their miserable offerings.

* Poor feud progression
* Poor focus centered around championships
* Poor use of the marquee matchup
* Blatantly obvious setup to the mystery angle
* Useless matches involves hacks

Pretty much sums up what the event is all about. With any shred of luck, Aries might be able to break his back and carry the methhead to a decent match to at least serve some justice to the world title.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread

My Predictions

TNA World Title

Jeff Hardy vs Austin Aries (Id like to pick Aries cause he needs it more but the comeback story will happen)

TNA X Title

RVD vs Zema Ion (Unless theres some kind of DQ finish, I can't see them putting Ion over RVD on such a big stage)

TNA TV Title

Magnus vs Samoa Joe (Joe just got the belt and I believe this feud will continue for the next couple of PPVs)

TNA Tag Team Titles

LAX 3.0 vs Angle/Styles vs WTTCOTW (Champs are too entertaining to lose the straps right now)

TNA KO Title

Tara vs Tessmatcher (Her hollywood bf will most likely show up and help her win the title)

Street Fight

James Storm vs Robert Roode (After what happened at Lockdown, no way Storm loses. This is the blowoff.)

Sting/Bully Ray vs Aces and Eights (No matter what goes down, theyll obviously go over cause they aint leaving)

Al Snow Joey Ryan (Same thing as above, Ryan is sticking around)

Overall its a very good card that has great potential. Roode/Storm, Aries/Hardy, Joe/Magnus, and the 3 way tag could all be possible MOTYC's if given the right time and structure. The tag match is kind of unpredictable cause we dont know will be wrestling for Aces but that could also be a wild and very fun match. Ion and RVD could have a really solid midcard title match as well and I really dont know what to expect from Snow and Ryan as Ive only seen Ryan once or twice and Snow hasn't wrestled in years. Really the only match I have no interest in is the womens match, everything else has something going for it. Could be one of the better TNA ppvs ever with a hot crowd and the card delivers.

Do I really have to say anything?

Sure? I don't see him giving up his secure spot in PWG for a barely paid Prichard style contract in TNA. In addition, they can "prove", that the Gut Check judges were absolutely right about Ryan in the first place.
