It is shit booking because there was NO HEAT on Aries as the heel because the heel turn happened on the go home show. If the heel turn occured 3-4 weeks ago they could have put good heat on Aries and built up to the switch here. Given what they did here a dirty or controversial finish in Aries favor tonight throws heat on him and builds to the switch at TP.
And no worries about the crowd in the IZ for a Hardy title win because he is always over in the IZ. They'd have popped for it.
I never said every winner should win the title.
You have to understand, BFG is still relatively new. Make no sense to have the winner lose the title match so early in it's development. And is it Jeff's fault that there was no heat on Aries?
The hatred for Hardy is what fuels the complaining over him winning the title. Because everything wrong with the match and buildup, people want to blame Hardy for it. Fact is, he deserved the title. Now, this makes things interesting for a rematch and full blown heel turn from Aries.
It's more to the bigger picture. Doesn't need to be a clear cut storyline for the original match, especially when you'll likely do it 1-2 more times at the next PPV's, so after the first match is when the storyline should be developed, with Aries being pissed at losing the title to a man that has let the company down once.
Let me ask you this: What are you more mad about, the build up of the match or the winner of the match?
