Not true. Actually female competitors can look good and put together a good match. We had these times (and some are still on the roster officially). You don't have to choose between supermodels and fugly wrestlers. You can have both combined.

The way i see it, it's perfectly natural that some division or feuds will have less investment.

TNA has only a two hour show every week to show their product. With all the storylines TNA as right now, not only the KO division lost some spotlight, but also the X division. Even the tag-team division is dead right.

I think it's a matter of time, until TNA rebuilds and focus more on the ladies. And for all that matters, the KO division has Tara heel turn story, Tess defending the title almost everyweek, Rayne and Hebner, Kim and James will eventually be brought in, it's good but it's not terrible either.

Umm, no?! BfG Series that had taken a lot of time (which was basically a good thing) but is over now. Still all these division are dead. And there's no chance of Madison Rayne, Gail Kim or Mickie James being at Bound for Glory, though they advertised Kim and James over and over for it. They seem to know that these women draw. Otherwise they wouldn't feature them. It's just that Prichard doesn't give a fuck about anything not being his "vision".

The Lockbox challenge happened just once. Garett Bischoff maineventing under Prichard's regime happened more than once.

2009 was the Knockouts division at it's height. Daffney, Sarita, Alissa Flash, Kong, Hamada. All wrecking shit to the point they were going at it with the men.

My biggest pet peeve is people judging women's wrestling on WWE and recent TNA, even completely disregarding the knockouts division from 2007 - 2009 in order to make their point that "All womens wrestling is terrible." Oh, and when people point out SHIMMER and Joshi and stuff and they go "Well that doesn't count." which just blows my mind. So if they slap a WWE logo on a SHIMMER show, it now counts for all womens wrestling because it's WWE? Kaboom.

That's Eric Bischoff fault for that and the KO sucked since 2010 so its no different now

The women don't draw. Bowlen doesn't know what drawing means. This thread is getting silly. Some people are not capable of separating their opinion of the female wrestlers from the reality of business. Contrary to popular belief, TNA is not just a TV show. It is a business that has to make profit. If you like women's wrestling, that's cool. But you liking it doesn't mean that it is necessarily the right thing for business. Right now, it's not the right thing to do. If you like the Knockouts, or want more for the women in TNA, then it sucks for you that it is not in a better state, but just saying "everyone wants it! they draw!" is completely, 100% false.

That is your opinion. 2010/11 regarding the Knockouts had been still much better than 2012 in mine. The end came with Gail Kim losing the belt to Tessmacher.

Bischoff is part of Prichard's regime.

A lot of sexiest comments here. If the division isn't working, do as others have suggested and reboot.
Women's wrestling will never be big until they are given the chance to shine and get the support they need to grow.
Even if this were to happen, there will always be an issue due to certain individuals treating women differently, and judging them regardless of actual talent.

I quite like the knockout segments, they help to break up the show a little...but maybe we should just do as some guys think and put all these women back into the kitchen where they belong.

Lets just have a show for men only, with a men only audience watching men do manly things in small pants whilst being oiled up, lots of groping and touching to enjoy and not a woman to be seen or heard. Manly!

Impact's peak rating was in the second quarter-hour of the show with a 1.10 rating for the first of two Knockouts matches. The show stayed within about one-tenth of a rating for most of the show, ranging from a 0.98 low to the 1.10 peak.

Q2: Impact peaked with a 1.10 rating for Velvet Sky vs. Madison Rayne

Q2: 0.85 rating - Crimson vs. Austin Aries, Crimson issues an open challenge for Slammiversary, Brooke Hogan backstage with the Knockouts, Hulk Hogan entrance

Q3: 0.92 rating - Hogan in-ring promo, Bobby Roode interrupts Hogan, Sting roughs up Roode, The Knockouts backstage

Q4: 0.95 rating - Mickie James vs. Velvet Sky vs. Miss Tessmacher vs. Tara with Gail Kim on commentary, Bully Ray backstage, two commercial breaks

source: http://www.prowrestling.net/artman/p...10025639.shtml

Q6: Impact increased slightly to a show-high 1.11 rating for this week's Knockouts segment of a Tara in-ring promo before intimidating Christy Hemme.

http://pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/T...le_65476.shtml

Q7: Impact reached a show-high 1.14 rating for Tara celebrating Miss Tessmacher before turning heel on her. This was followed by more videos, one commercial, and Dixie Carter holding court in a backstage office meeting.

http://pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/T...le_65197.shtml

Q4: Impact increased slightly to a first-hour-high 1.04 rating for the X Division tag match, plus one commercial break. (down 7.5% vs. 2011-Q4 average)

Q5: Impact jumped to a 1.23 rating for the Knockouts battle royal and pre and post-match activity. There was also one commercial break. (even vs. 2011-Q5 average of a 1.23 rating)

I could go on, but I'm not one for ratings discussions. That's just from a quick google search, but I probably didn't even have to do that, a quick search on this very forum about how the Knockouts were the highest ratings in like 08/09 proves that they do in fact "draw." Granted, they're not ratings savers and consistently the highest rated segment and they don't top the ratings as often as they did in 07 - 09, but they still do so often. And the ratings from 07 - 09 would probably show that a decent, well built womens division is a good thing for the show overall.

A higher rated segment in a television show does not make you a goddamn draw!
