Um, they're basically letting Beth walk, failed to do Beth vs. Kharma and Beth vs. Nattie feuds that were RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR FACE, released Kharma, and have jobbed both Beth and Nattie (their two best female wrestlers) to death the last two years. Also, their third best female wrestler is in a non-wrestling role... they're definitely not dropping the ball alright.

I'll believe it when I see it, as this is similar to a report about the cruiserweight division in 2004, when Pritchard supposedly wanted it gone yet it lasted three more years. The state of the division is still better than the LVE/Rosie Lottalove era which turned the likes of Sarita, Hamada, Daffney, and Taylor Wilde into jobbers (Mickie's only been depushed after the Garrett Bischoff tweet). Tessmacher is much better than Velvet too...

If the KO matches are boring, a lot of that has to do with the way they're being treated by the company.

When was the last time you saw a backstage segment with the KOs? When was the last time there was a proper feud, complete with promos etc? For months the KO matches have just been stand-alone matches with zero context or storyline (at least until Tara's heel turn last week). Put AJ or Aries in those kind of matches and it gets pretty dull pretty quickly, so what chance do the likes of Tessmacher have to create an emotionally involving spectacle?

The KOs can be an asset to the company. It's just whether or not they want them to be. To be honest, TNA needs to decide what they want to do. If they're not into the KOs they may as well sack the entire female roster as they're not doing anyone any favours by running a context-free 4 minute match every week. Either give them the time they need or get rid of them. Personally, I think they need a second show - the KOs could play an interesting part in that.

Which direction you go in women's wrestling is always a difficult decision. You can go the direction of WWE where you use strictly eye candy model types who can't wrestle but then you have us IWC people complaining about it or you do in the direction of having them be actual wrestlers but then you run in to what I call the WNBA scenario, no matter how hard they try, it's just not the same. Although I don't necessarily agree with getting rid of the division entirely, I can see why they'd want to do it.

Ive fast forward evert womens match for years now. Its nothing against them. They just can not wrestle the way men can. They never have interesting characters. All Tits and painful streams. Just sayin.

It's interesting to see not too many people caring about women's wrestling. I'll be the first to admit, I don't have much of an interest. If the KOs Division disappears, I'll sure I'll miss it a bit but overall it wouldn't make me stop watching. When a KOs match comes on nowadays I find no interest in it.

I feel women's wrestling has value – this opinion may be biased as I actually am a woman – but I'll also acknowledge that it can be a tough sell. Finding a wide-appealing balance between athleticism and eye candy takes someone who really understands and appreciates what women have to offer in the ring. Looking at the current status of the KO division, I feel it's pretty obvious that there's not much attention being directed toward them by booking and creative.

From a business perspective, I could fend off the female audience (or may not since they might be there to see sweaty men in the ring" btut for me I'm with him.
