And their ratings are going up. Oh wait...

They have broken their US attendance record and they have just sold out BFG. Biting your nails for ratings is the worst thing you could do as a promoter. Their are many many more aspects than ratins, and spike isnt going to pay tna more for a .1 increase in ratings

What "viewership?" The same 1.1 rating that TNA always gets, every week, no matter what? The same PPV buys? The same merchandise sales? Do you have any idea how much money it costs to even point a live camera at someone per minute? The women are a waste of time because they hinder potential revenue. It would require too much time & too much money to get them to the point where they could even be put into a position to make money. It's a fruitless task & thus, as a business, a waste of time, money & effort. It's as simple at that, really. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter one fuck if some dudes on a message forum that steal the PPV anyway want to see women roll around for 2-minutes in skimpy outfits. It matters if they can make TNA money. They can't.

Just like how Bischoff wanted the X-Division gone? Don't buy it. Dixie isn't going to let it happen and they invested too much into the KOs to scrap it off the bat.

They are in a good groove with their TV format and they aren't looking to change it which is understandable and acceptable which begs the question on why can't the Knockouts get their own TV show.

the IWC may not like women wrestling but there is a good percentage of men who follow it and women who follow it and it would a slap in the face to all women in the industry to disband a division that is considered the best in the American business.

How? It lets you know who's watching your show and how many people bother watching the product.

That's the exact point! There's NOT a "good percentage of men who follow" female wrestling. It doesn't exist. There's not a market for it, at all. That's the entire damn argument. People don't buy PPV for the women's match. Shimmer isn't doing record numbers. There's no demand for WWE divas matches. There's no demand for TNA Knockouts matches. Selling 100-300 tickets at a high school gym is not going to pay the bills of a nationally broadcast live television show that has monthly PPV. Nor would any cable station put it on the air. Remember Wrestlicious?

And? Just wait for the other talent to quit or not renew their contracts. And let's wait for BfG to happen - the building can still be half empty with being "sold-out". And you know what? Live event crowds also decreased massively since Prichard took over.

So it's two sold out buildings against shitty ratings and shitty live event attendance figures...

Nobody would consider the 2012 KO division "the best in the American business".

There's no demand in female wrestling the same way there's no demand in a bad champion. All it takes is the right treatment and the demand rises. Prichard is causing the opposite because he doesn't have faith in the females. And something happened during the start of January that cause the ratings decline we have now.

And? Numbers were down in 2011 compared to previous years as well, and 2010 was down from 2009.Considering TNA almost always got 3,000 or less for ppv attendance, getting over 5,000 for two straight ppvs is great. They plan on going to all their ppvs on the road next year, so this is good news going forward. House show numbers are going to mean less and less as years go on for them, the reason they were higher was because back in the day, House shows were considered better than the actual show.

And the ratings argument? XD considering TNA is against much much stiffer competition than even last year with things like olympics, Switching time slots, Viacom going out, and NFL football on every thursday, I think there are other reasons why those are down by only .1.

Where did you read this?

See it like you want, but I don't see any future success or benefit to the show by letting the KO division die.
