Could TNA try to bring Kevin Steen?

Lately, TNA seems to be looking at the ROH roster, with Kenny King and TJ Perkins signing. Kevin Steen is managing to make a name for himself. I think, TNA could use him as one of the strongest heels on the roster and he's definitely main-event material.

I was wondering if does anyone think TNA should bring him in? He's under contract with ROH until when?

If and when his deal is up, without a doubt they should make him a strong attempt to sign him. If his current deal contains an out clause that allows him to leave for TNA/WWE then they should be after him now.

I see him as a WWE guy but he has been working with PWG for years, maybe...

thats no differant to what has been happening for 7 straight years now

TNA should be doing everything in their power to make this happen (so should WWE for that matter).

I'd imagine the edgy Steen we all know and love would be less restricted under the direction of TNA though.

steen and the briscoes should be tnas top targets in roh.(maybe truth martini too, could be a good manager for aj or crimson)

thing with steen tho is his character is based on wanting to kill roh for not giving him opportunities in the past and treating him like crap. if he were to sign with tna, how would that character work? just arrive to kill tna? idk but tna should definitely try to get him.

This is what I was hoping, was for him to lose the title at Death Before Dishonor X because he told the ROH management he has different plans then the whole time during Aces and 8s he was the big guy under the mask because he could have been because he didn't show his face. I truly think he will be on his way out of ROH after Glory By Honor he will lose the title to Elgin and lose the PWG title to Cole and leave the indies. I hope TNA would sign him, he has grown me.

I agree Steen and Briscoes should be TNA main targets atm, I think TNA should go after Truth and make their own House of Truth the members should be: Aj Styles, Roderick Strong, American Wolves(Davey said in his shoot interview he thinks the Wolves should still be together). Also I think TNA should go after Adam Cole before WWE picks him up, the guy is really growing into a true superstar.

Kevin Steen IS indy wrestling, by sending him to a mainstream company it will really hurt Steen and indy wrestling because he wont be able to get away with the same kind of thing that he'll be able to get away with on the indy's.

I would love to hear "Kill Steen Kill" in the Impact Zone. I love Kevin Steen but I agree with some of the other members Bubba Ray in ECW wasthe best. I've been to several ECW shows back in 1997-1998 and Bubba was great with the crowd. I was just watching DDT4 today and watching Steen mocking the fans reminded me of Bubba Ray. Steen is a great heel but Bubba was brillant in ECW.

Eventually Steen will end up in TNA or WWE. He's the biggest name in independant wrestling right now and it's only a matter of time.

Once he moves up, some other guy will take over the king of the indies role. As to TNA actively recruiting him right now, thats a bitch move they should avoid doing. Wait till his contract with ROH is up then buy him off.

Iwould love to see Kevin Steen join TNA and I would love it even more if he turns out to be the one behind aces and eights. I know what Everyone is thinking right now and thats it cant be kevin as he is the ROH world champion and they would not let him work for TNA on the side. But if you think about, TNA have been using different people as the AA's VP and they have all been about the same size as Steen and who is to say TNA are not just doing this while they agree a contract with Steen and allow ROH to bring there Storyline to a close

I hate when people say the top ROH guy is the top indy wrestler with no justification, kevin steen is a great performer but in my opinion sami callihan is still better than him.

I'd love to see Steen in TNA.
Personally i'd bring him in then have Ray see the comparison between them, and try to 'mentor' him. In a comical sense, giving him advice that Steen, despite being heel just isn't interested in. An unwilling protoge story could be hilarious.

Sorry for bumping a relatively old thread(~5 weeks), but I wanted to drop a couple of updates:

- Last night, Kevin Steen lost the PWG World title to Adam Cole.
- At ROH's Final Battle iPPV on Dec. 16, Steen may lose the ROH World title to El Generico in their Ladder War.
- Steen has talked this year about taking some time off at the end of 2012 to have knee surgery.
- Steen has no full-time/written contract with any company.

Is it possible that TNA bring in Kevin Steen in March/April or so? Could he be an epic Lethal Lockdown surprise to give Aces and 8s the win?

We know D-Lo has been playing the VP role, but that also fits Steen's body type if they want to go that way. Either way, even without that angle, Steen would be an epic addition to TNA. Matches with Joe, Storm, Angle, Roode, Aries, Styles, etc... would be awesome.

Your thoughts?

I don't think it's happening, he will eventually join WWE.

Isn't el generico going to the E too?

lmao don't be such marks. They've been on tv like what, 3 times? (it's the only part of wwe ive been up to date with. havent exactly got 3 hours spare with uni and a job). I don't recall Aces & Eights doing anything different when they first appeared and you probably thought that was the greatest.

As for Steen in TNA, im not fussed either way. Give me Generico over him anyday. I probably prefer Steen in a PWG environment. Or they can pick up mah boy Willie Mack

That's the problem, "you probably thought". Everyone with the same opinion in the same box bs.
At first the aces&eights angle was random as fuck and I only got into it because of the whodunit mystery, that's why the aces&eights topic has almost 300 pages of discussion. People want to know who is behind it.

Now, the shield had the reverse effect on me.
I was excited about it at the beginning because of the talent on it but it started getting old the RAW after the attack, I mean ryback fell for the same attack twice? it was like watching a replay of the ppv. Honestly I hope they improve to a point that the aces&eights actually have to "top" them but so far it has been nothing special.

People also want to know if the shield are with punk and if they arent then what their purpose is. punk being accused is in a similar vein to the james storm thing except punker is a heel and reacting differently to storm.

also ryback got the better of them last time didnt he and they needed punkers help? i really didnt mind that they got him the second night, since it was just getting over what happened on the ppv for those who didnt see it (like me). i mean if they randomly attack for MONTHS like aces and eights, then yeah ill be bored. but its way too early to judge anything, thats why tonys reaction was great

people also want to know if Twilight would get yet another sequel, so thats nothing to brag about

Damn. I feel like the only guy who doesn't like steen or something. Don't get the hard on for him
you need to get an erection to like a wrestler, is there something you're hiding in closet son?

Don't bother Shep...

The Aces and Eights thread is full of warranted criticism of the angle. It's a shite angle, which is a trend they seem to be repeating this year.
