I agree. One of the best things about TNA is it's unpredictability and now they're trying to format the show with different themes each week. I feel like when you do this, you box yourself in. Every 4th show we have to have an OFN/Gut check/or a championship "vote-off" and I rather TNA just go with the flow. It's the same thing like the TV title having a match every week, why make each show HAVE TO HAVE a certain theme. Tonight's OFN, so tonight we're going to get a number of people call out someone else just for the sake of doing so because that's what the format calls for.
It's like WWE and their PPVs.... certain matches you want to see in a Hell In A Cell, but your only going to get it if the feud is happening in October(i.e. People wanted to see Punk/Cena in a HIAC and still may, but if Cena couldn't compete, you'd end up wasting the match on Punk/Big Show/Orton etc Or giving Del Rio/Sheamus a HIAC match when there are those more deserving/intriguing to see that type of match.) So yeah I agree totally w/ lil jimmy, I think things like this disrupt the momentum. |
