The challengers will be AJ Styles and a partner of his choosing, Robbie E & Robbie T, Gunner and Kid Kash, and Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez!

I support this idea but this means Gut Check will be the selling point of OFN, so it's time to bring the best from OVW/indies.

It's just too gimmicky and I don't think it matters. OFN was unique along with the inclusion of Gut Check and it made for an interesting point in a month and a great way to showcase talent that would otherwise get ignored when creative have nothing for them. But if you consider the gap between PPVs on average to be four weeks; two of those weeks are gimmicky nonsense. I don't see why this can't be a concept of OFN rather than it's own separate show.

It sounds like they are just moving the Championship Match they used to do on OFN to one show a week. Not a bad idea.

So they're just taking the title match part from Open Fight Night and making it a stand alone episode?

Sounds good I guess. They probably wanted to free up more space to do different things on OFN, IMO.

EDIT: Just thought about how entertaining the backstage segment with Hulk, The Robbies, Gunner, Kash, Chavo, Hernandez, AJ, and (Kurt?) is going to be

I just like the fact that TNA is willing to try new things and implement new ideas. One of the benefits of being the No. 2 wrestling company is that it makes you try harder. My guess is that AJ will choose Kurt Angle, Hogan will give them the title shot, and Daniels-Kaz will lose on purpose via countout. That would set up another match (maybe a cage match?) on Sunday or maybe Bound For Glory.

I have strong feeling this will be the last year of having 12 ppv's and it will be cut down to 8 or 6 for 2013
