I can think of other matches I'd rather see (Aries vs AJ, anyone?), but I wouldn't be disappointed. It could be a good match - I suspect Aries would pull Hardy out of his drop-kick/ Twist of Fate/ Swanton formula.

This is how I'd book it:
Make the Hardy vs. Joe match end in a draw so they both get two points, this way Hardy gets above AJ in the rankings, but he's on the fifth place. Then, during the RVD vs. Bully match make Hardy attack RVD or Bully two get one of them DQ'd and lose 10 points and fall beneath Hardy and Hardy goes to fourth place. Then have Hardy beat the one who didn't get DQ'd and Storm beat Joe in the semi-finals. In the final match, Hardy vs. Storm, have Roode cost the match for Storm and Hardy gets to face Aries at BFG as a heel.

Aries can carry a match blindfold, but regardless, keep Hardy as far away of the title as possible. Not only because of the Shit Factor, but his actions from last year don't warrant another main event push.

I would love to see that happen! Sadly, I doubt seeing it come true though. I agree that Hardy is a big draw and I have no problem admitting I am a creature of the night
