Are you sure Bully is saying flapjack and not slapjack? A slapjack would make sense since that's actually a weapon.

Anywho, great show. Very good TV matches, I like that they played up the final 5 as a huge deal, they're pushing BFG so highly that it makes you want to see it now 2 months in advance, and I really like this Aces and Eights angle. They're really taking it somewhat slow. In OTHER pro wrestling companies we'd have figured out who it was by week 2. In this case its been a few months and we still haven't got a clue a) who these guys are and b) who is behind them attacking the roster. Each week the story gets a little bit clearer. I especially like that people in this thread are all speculating who is behind it and yet no one knows for sure, since there are several paths they could take and all would make complete sense. Really, really well done-TNA has the audience guessing and wanting to see more, the crowds are great in the Impact Zone, it feels like a hot product.

And notice how Hogan said "our best is in the ring right now." Just little things like that, calling Aries the best because he's the champion, it does so much to elevate and establish the product. That's what the Heavyweight title symbolizes-that you're the best. WWE for some reason can't even get that right. Punk is allegedly the best, yet never main events a PPV and not even the fucking announcers will call him the best because he's not Cena. Even a little rub like that from Hogan means a lot in the casual fans' mind. Almighty Hulk Hogan says that the best of them is Austin Aries, there is legitimacy to that.

Great job, TNA. You guys have turned things around and you deserve much respect.

what is exacly ground breaking ? cuz i remember those Jan-April shows that you thin is better than the current product to be way worst than that. if you give this a 6/10 what would you give a show from feb-march ? hah ? the only thing that was good back then was bobby roode , point blank. not to mention of you give this a 6/10, what would you rate an episode from 2010 ? i mean , jeez , come on .

Zema Ion has always reminded me of someone and even though I didn't know who, I could never take him seriously because of it. I just realized who it was.

^If you don't know who this is, the character's name is Raj (short for Rajesh) and he plays this science nerd on the tv show The Big Bang Theory. Funny as hell! The character is normally questioned about his latent homosexual tendencies to even further the comparisons between him and Ion.

Should be an interesting episode. I'm anticipating another appearance from Joey Ryan during the gut check judgement, and hopefully it furthers the angle going into BFG. I'd like to see a Joey vs Al Snow/Tazz match at BFG but maybe I'm just looking into things too much.

Austin Aries condition is an interesting angle they are going with. I can't see him relinquishing the title and not performing at BFG but we may get a case of the top two in the BFG series facing off for the title at BFG. We may also have a miraculous recovery (I hope so) and Austin defends his title.

Lots of questions, hopefully plenty of answers. :D

For some reason, I keep thinking today is Thursday. Oh well.

The BFG Series alone should make this show a hot one. We've got three strong matches that can impact the top four rankings.

Also, with the Gut Check thing happening, all I am interested in there is what is going to happen with Joey Ryan.

And yes, I am very interested in seeing what happens with Austin Aries. Will he be forced to drop the title like RVD did? Will he be allowed to hold on to it until BFG? We'll have to see.

Definitely looking forward to this episode.

I definitely think that Joey Ryan will show up. What I'd like to see would be a build up to a match at BFG between Ryan and Snow, and have Taz be involved as the referee/enforcer/whatever. Have Taz screw over Snow at BFG to help Joey pull out the win, and from that point forward Taz puts Joey Ryan over, explaining that he had Joey Ryan all wrong and that he is a future main eventer (or something to that degree). I'd say to have Taz become his manager, but Joey Ryan doesn't really need one.

Also, Joe vs. Styles never gets old. Looking forward to this.

Love this idea, half the reason being it gets Taz out of commentary.

The show itself should be good. Styles/Joe never disappoints and if I'm not mistaken this will be there first match since Against All Odds 2010. I'm also hoping Aces and 8s reveal themselves.

3 great matches on paper and we should really know how everything's shaping up after tomorrow night. If joe and storm both win, their locked in basically. Kurt and Jeff both need to win so that'll be interesting. RVD will be in good shape with a win too, pretty much everybody needs to win so hopefully well see 3 great intense matches.

He's getting "signed" simply because joey ryan needs to beat someone to a bloody mess and call TNA a bunch of hypocrites.
