Probably has something to do with last week of summer vacation/labor day weekend as well.

Something I found interesting was that the Marine 2 which came on right after Impact had 940,000 viewers and made the cable tv ratings rankings. I don't think I've ever noticed another spike show in the ratings rankings before, so I'm guessing the end of Impact did pretty well and kept people tuned in for the movie afterwards.

Anyway, thursday fking sucks competition wise. I'm saying this tongue in cheek so don't take it so seriously, but I've always wanted to see TNA go live one friday and smack smackdown's taped ass right in the fking mouth. Like stack the show and just kill their rating for one night.

Edit: Also the Republican National Convention was a big deal last night. Hannity on FOX NEWS which is on at 9 had 6 million viewers(usually a third or less of that) because it was covering the convention. But you also had MSNBC (2 million + viewers, usually two viewers lol) and CNN and possibly other challenges covering the same thing. Thursday is fucking madness. Now we'll have the MLB playoffs and all the games including the world series will end up on thursday. Never fking ends.

Just off the top of my head, next thursday we get to look forward to the first games of the NFL season and fucking Obama ending the Democratic National Convention...

I do think many of you are over-hyping the shows to be honest, but thats just my opinion. They are decent but hardly groundbreaking like the way *some* of you go on about them (not mentioning any names).

This aces and 8's thing is dragging on way too long without any real progress, and the shows just feel like repeats each week.

Again, if it wasn't in the Impact Zone it would probably be a 7-8/10, but the IZ kills the show for me. Its just hard to watch in that crappy soundstage.

Also, too much wrestling. Seriously TNA, the matches are the most boring parts of the show, cut down on the time they are given please. Casual fans do not want wrestling matches. They want what you gave them last week.

That would make Impact more like Raw... TNA this year has finally gotten their OWN identity and aren't relying on the likes of RVD, Anderson, Hardy, Angle, Flair, Sting, Hogan, etc. to "save" them. And it boggles my mind why people watch WRESTLING and want LESS wrestling...
