Re: August 30th Impact Wrestling Discussion Thread

In case none of you saw it... dlo brown was using a aces and eights vest, not the typical prospects vest.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

I dig the idea of the Young Bucks being a part of Aces & Eights. I'd like to think that they're in the back leaning on everybody's jackets during the attacks.

Wish it was a chest protector.

2 Hot Steve Scott hit Austin Aries with a flapjack. That's wrong.

can't happen, most of the guys currently in aces and eights are too big and fat to be the guys who were fired/released from TNA(Most of them were x-division guys like lethal, amazing red, shannon moore, brian kendrick, alex shelley, bucks, etc)

Being from the east coast of the US and the tri-state area myself, I can tell you I've heard people refer to that type of weapon as a flapjack plenty of times. Probably just colloquial slang.

Good episode and I'm glad aries will not end up like rvd and giving up the title.

Re: August 30th Impact Wrestling Discussion Thread

And that Angle match tonight showed exactly why he's a terrible worker & should never be on a "best of" list. The dude doesn't know how to work, at all. No pacing, no psychology, no selling. It's just finish, finish, finish and hope the fans buy into 2-counts. THAT'S IT! That's the entire fucking match. Every time. Such shit.
