I dont know why you bother coming in the TNA section when all you ever seem to do is take digs at them.
Sorry but TNA not neing in WWE financially.and in terms.of. opularity is not takkng a dig at them. Its true. I called am not saying TNA is incompetent but it is what it is. TNA cant afford to take their shows on the road. Thats a fact. Dont act like TNA is a real threat for WWE.

Yet anyway.

Its already superior to WWE. Right now WWE is worse than it has ever been, even 94-97 blows it out of the water. The 25th Summerslam was worse than WCW's 2000 PPV's.

They CAN afford to do it but they are wisely not doing it. They are experimenting and looking to do their PPVs in different markets (Arlington and Phoenix) this year looking to establish different cities to visit for when they go on the road. They have already established the Southeast and NY, Philly, Ohio area.

If TNA wasn't a real threat to WWE, the WWE wouldn't have been begging guys like Hardy, Flair not to show up during that January show, they wouldn't care if TNA was present at Wizard World and they certainly wouldn't be handing out 90 day no compete clause deals if there is no WCW around.

WWE cares about what TNA does because they are competition but simply wouldn't hurt their pockets, sponsorships and loyal fans which is why WWE really has no reason to do anything to change their awful product because they make money off of it and that's their focus.

However, almost everyone is picking up on TNA's product right now and that's all that matters. TNA won't take it to that WWE elite wrestling company level until the next generation grows into watching them like many grew into WWE and WCW.

Re: Tickets for Bound For Glory selling very well

I am not talking only about the quality of the show. TNA is probably better. BUT TNA is still far from WWE in terms of profits, and name value. That why TNA isnt in WWE's league. Thats a fact.

No, TNA cant afford to do it. If they could, they would be doing it. Having money to do so doesnt mean they can do it. Being able to do it means not losing money to do every shows on the road. Which TNA cant do, YET. Thats why they are still in that awful IZ. Best way to spread the name TNA is to travel more IMO.

WWE doesnt do anything about their product because TNA isnt a competitor. If TNA was WWE would step their game up. Competitor to me means TNA has to be at or pretty close to the level of WWE in most aspect. They arent. They could be one day for sure, if they do it right. But they arent there yet.

Also WWE does that to almost every promotions they dont have some agreement with, they dont just do it against TNA.

That's obvious. WWE has been around since 1958, TNA has been around since 2002.

TNA will be as big as WWE eventually. They won't be on that level anytime soon.

WWE is hermorrhaging viewers as a result of its relentless shittiness. Its flagship show is now officially at Russo-WCW ratings. Worse in fact, Russo WCW hit 4's and 5's. WWE is now in the 2.0's. Its kinda ironic that Arquette showed up last night at SS with that WCW belt. WWE is doing what Russo did - bringing in big name one-off cameos to patch over deeper rooted problems. Lesnar is WWE's Dennis Rodman. Continuing on that path, it quite possible that TNA could close the gap. If they insist on condescending their viewers, this is what will happen. If TNA hit the road and get another channel, they'd be on WWE's ass. This could happen within 5 years.

I dont recall myself, anybody on here, or TNA themselves acting as though TNA is a real threat to WWE, because they are obviously not. Its all in your head.

I also think everybody realises TNA cant afford to take their shows on the road.

TNA can afford doing shows on the road but would they get a profit from it?
Panda/Dixie and Spike ain't gonna put their money into something that might not work.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

They should just go to areas where they know to draw fine on accasion. A show on the road in the New York area for example would work, don't you think?!

To me it's clear.
Reduce the number of ppvs to 6 and make one tv special per month, all of these show would be on the road.
