So they fire Vince Russo and expect him to come in and do an angle? Bare in mind, Russo was head of creative in TNA for 6 years and never booked himself in one single angle, so why would he suddenly get the bug to be apart of storylines he isnt in control of? Also, nobody gives a shit about Russo. The casual viewer has no idea who he is. He hasn't been on national TV since 2000. The internet knows who he is, but do those kids and teenagers buying AJ Styles t-shirts and Kurt Angle dog chains know who he is?
Anyway it makes every sense in the world for it to be Jeff Jarrett. Id rather they go with what makes sense than think outside the box and fuck it up. If there is a swerve involved, there could possibly be a tiny chance they could cut a deal with Scott Steiner where he returns for the angle and they drop this lawsuit against him (like WCW did with Rick Rude), but I doubt that even.
Steiner would be perfect for this angle. And it would explain why they went after Brooke Hogan last week, but I imagine we've seen the last of Steiner in a major wrestling promotion in the US.
