Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

Well the stable can't be invincible. At least it's not like Evolution where a mere 4 guys were bullying a roster of 30+ wrestlers (Or even Shield that 3 guys has the 30+ man roster terrified ). Eventually the numbers game plays a factor and it makes it more believable. A&E can't out-muscle the entire roster so they use low-handed techniques, and occasionally get beatdown themselves.

I haven't seen any members of A&E get 'buried' like many discussions suggest. Getting buried would be like a squash match. Like when Shaemus destoryed Daniel Bryan in 2-minutes on RAW with 100% offense compared to Daniel's 0% offense. Complete and utter squash. Then again at Wrestlemania for the Heavyweight Championship. I've seen nothing like that in these A&E defeats.

Sure they may lose, but who cares if they lose a 'wrestling match' they are anarchists. Losing a regulation and orderly match means nothing to them so long as they accomplish their goals (Taking out Sting and Angle). Unfortunately TNA is getting away from that and started to make A&E care about matches & titles, when they shouldn't.

That's still a real problem. More often then not, A&8's lose the match AND get laid out. The last person the legit took out was Eric Young I think. They don't have to squash every single person, they just need to be credible in the fans minds and TNA has taken that away. Personally, I don't even know why they're being put in matches. Far as I know they aren't contracted TNA talent. A&8's just aren't a threat. They don't have to be invincible. They just have to be formidable and they aren't.

Could DDP be the leader of Aces and Eights?

First of all, I have no idea why he would be the leader of a biker group but when you take a look at is twitter...I find it quite interesting that there's a lot of interaction between him and some TNA wrestlers.

Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, Devon, Robbie E, Taz, Ken Anderson are all following DDPYoga on twitter. Maybe they're just friends or maybe they're just fans of is yoga stuff but I still find this quite intriguing.

He might not be in shape to wrestle but hye could be a great leader. And lets not forget about is tattoo.

Well he did start off as a manager, so I dunno.

I love DDP and I would be open to him wrestling...if he can still go.

Interesting idea. I think DDP still has a lot to offer, and of all the suggestions as to who the leader is, this one actually interests me.

Lockdown should be the end of Aces and 8s but too bad Eric Bichoff biker reality show is coming back this year so we have to deal with more Aces and 8s stuff past Lockdown

Re: Could DDP be the leader of Aces and Eights?

DDP is 56, has a career outside wrestling and is under a WWE Legends contract. There's more chance of Tony316 being the leader of the Aces and 0.8s.

That'd be fine with me, but isn't DDP and DDPYoga closely intertwined with the WWE?
