I didn't mind Sting beating up Roode at Slammy because at the end of the day, Roode still kept the title which was what needed to happen. At the end of the day, Roode still won, and stayed champion. What they did at the end there was just a way to send the fans home happy and get a big spot in as well.

WWE did the exact same thing with Punk & Ryback at Hell in a Cell and it was fine.

What I am complaining about is the Aces & Eights lately just not being able to maintain any kind of heat. This past Impact highlighted all of that. Mike Knox injures Kurt Angle, but then gets his ass handed to him by Sting in a match. Aces & Eights kidnap Brooke Hogan, but Bully Ray chases 8 of them off all by himself (which isn't the first time this has happened).

Right now, Aces & Eights aren't looking like the violent force they were when they first started. It actually feels like Sting has already gotten a good hunk of revenge on them, so what's the point? All he has to do is beat DOC and that's the end of that heat really.

Part of me feels like sting might "join them" or at least someone dose there so that they get it back... but its not going to happen is it?

First of all, the storyline isn't over. When the story is finished, we can look back and judge. Personally I believe there is more to come, and that Ace & 8s will start to get more momentum as the story progresses.

Secondly, as I said before. They do not lose all the time. How many times did the Ace & 8s get the upperhand over TNA, they took out Sting and a few other wrestlers over the last couple of months and they have won some battles. They may have lost some matches, but it would be wrong to consider that the end all and be all of things.

Thirdly, Mike Knox injured Kurt Angle. Knox was not buried.

Fans don't need to be "sent home happy" all the fn time, that's like if in every episode on a tv series the bad guy always got his ass hopped... no drama involved, no reasons to get behind the babyfaces.

Logical mindset of sending the fans home happy is bunk. Fans will leave happy if the show delivers something worth getting excited for. Like back in the 80's with a Ric Flair championship defense. He was a heel, found a way to win to shock the fans and his opponent alike, but I'm more than certain it didn't leave the fans soured. Only left them engaged in the product and hoping the babyface could get the win. TNA should have done that at Slammiversary and nobody would have had any personal gripes. Roode sneaks away over Sting again and ends celebrating. That's perfectly logical. Much more so than the real ending we received.

And if you absolutely need to send the fans home happy, just do it off camera like they do on most tapings.

I assume A&8s have to start winning a bit now if for nothing else to make Lethal Lockdown even remotely watchable. Don't know if it'll help the angle because to me it's been dying a slow painful death for a long while now.

All Aces have going them (for me, personally) is it brought in DOC & Knox. I just look forward to their future careers after this ends now. All interest I had in the group is gone.

What's perfectly logical is this. The heel won, but the face got his revenge. Both guys won in the end, nobody really loses. Roode beat Sting and retained the title, Sting beat his ass looked good for his Hall of Fame induction. No harm no foul.
