I'm curious as to if they have an idea of who they will have as the leader or they have yet to come up with someone, similar to the Black Scorpion angle WCW had in 1990. Otherwise, build one or two heel groups and turn Aces & 8's faces via other faces paying them money to help in their feud with the other heel groups. For the record, one heel group could be the new Fortune consisting of Bobby Roode, Kazarine, Christopher Daniels, Robbie E, and Gunner with Kid Kash as manager/mouthpiece. The other could be a debut team of Jodi Kristofferson and the former Husky Harris aligned with James Storm turning heel. At least those are my dream groups.

That Sting heel turn idea sounds pretty good but I'm still sticking with it being Kurt Angle. They need a BIG reveal, and Sting or Angle (or maybe Sting AND Angle) would be a big deal. Both are stale babyfaces, both could use gimmick changes, both have the ability to get heat and help new faces get over (not Jeff Hardy "new") so its worth a shot.


Now that Anderson has appeared he will probably become the lead face (behind Hardy) to take them on.


But I doubt any of this happens, this story-line seems to have lost its luster a few months back so I'm just chucking shit out lol

This story was ruined by the Aces and Eights not having a single clean match victory. And also, instead of beat-downs or anything cool, they just have them backstage talking, and Devon talking.

I also think its a Sting heel turn purely because TNA are overloaded with main event heels at the moment.

Realistically the only main event heel is Robert Roode, one of the faces need to turn, if Impact did not have a steel cage match between Angle/Joe and Aces and 8s next week, then I would have agreed that Sting is coming back for his revenge.

BUT as TNA have added a hastily arranged Steel cage match between Joe/Angle and Aces and 8s and Sting is supposedly coming back for revenge, it is the ideal situation for Sting to get involved in this match.

Descending from the rafters and attacking Joe/Angle looks likely.

What destroyed Aces and 8s was the big reveal that Devon was a member.

And besides that point - Devon is seriously lacking in mike skills and was never the correct choice for the vocal focus of this group, his image is completely wrong as well.

If TNA really wanted to get this group over with a correct face member of the roster then James Storm was the correct choice to go.

As it is they currently have Aces and 8s with Devon (wrong choice) and Doc (most goofiest member of a heel group ever).

Lets be truly honest if your were facing Devon and Doc what would your first impression be?

I thought the angle peaked with the Bully Ray/Sting tag, complete with the nice spot of Joseph Parks breaking out of handcuffs. Then we got the Devon unmasking and its been complete shit ever since then. The stage seemed set to either confirm that Bully Ray was in on it or perhaps he was a red herring and it was Sting, but neither played out.

The whole being paid off by Roode, no Aries, kind of diminished them further. Ok, now they're really just goons that doesn't have bigger goals. I also find the idea of paid whores off putting. Are they going to watch Anderson fuck those chicks? It suddenly seems really like some kind of homoerotic biker gang.

Doesn't it seem like Brooke is playing her dad and Bully Ray off of one another? Could she be behind Aces and Eight? Sort of an AJ Lee without any of the talent to back it up. Just a thought, but if they are going to invest so much tv time in her, I think it will be more than just as a bone of contention.
