Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

Best thing about this stable is the influx of new talent for the roster. That's where the prize is here. D.O.C. & Mike Knox joining the company. Works for me.

I'd sooner Masters over Knox, but my knox memory is fuzzy (aka recommend me some matches)

I just saw Brisco/Bischoff from the other week too. Holy fuck how bad

Knox is a good big man worker. Pretty much like Gallows. Knox was under the mask at the PPV before Bound For Glory against Aries and in the tag match at Bound For Glory. I'm surprised WWE let Knox and Gallows go. The sooner he takes that silly mask off the better.

Oh I know Knox is a good worker, I'm just a bigger Masters fan plus him being in Ring Ka King got me excited over him maybe being in TNA. That and being in a dark match. He's actually wrestling not far from me next week but im busy, boourns.

I'm happy Gallows is in though, always liked him.

Mod note: Do not put this shit back in your sig. If you do you'll be banned. No need for baiting here.

My note: Oh gee. Cant people stand up for themselves without mod support?

We just had two monster stables in TNA packed with main eventers. In 2008-9 we had the "Main Event Mafia" and in 2010-11 we had "Immortal". We don't really need another one.

This would be a totally different approach, a stable filled with up and coming guys, who might be established main event stars when the angle is done.

And quite frankly, I'm all for D-Lo as a member. He still is over with the crowd. For someone who hasn't played a relevant part on TV for over ten years, that is quite impressive and should be taken advantage of.
I'm all for most of the guys being up and comers, Eric Bischoff and D'Lo Brown being the higher up members would be dull and I'm not sure the majority of fans would care.

Bring in Masters instead of Brisco plz.

I'll recommend some Mike Knox gems from 2009. Duked it out with Finlay, Kane, & Mysterio. His indie stuff (pre-WWE and handful post WWE) is harder to find. Someone out there may be able to hook you up.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

I like brisco, the booking team gave him a interesting story to play and he stands out from the rest. But I'm afraid TNA is going to swerve us for the sake of being different aka devon bfg failure.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

I remember liking Knox. They never did anything of substance with him, but he seemed like a solid big guy to me.

And hey! Put him in the group. DOC & Knox for Tag Team Champs. They'd be a good monster team.
