Now they've given a 29 year old a chance to build a career and they are getting shat on for it. Just remember at 29 JBL was a jobber named Justin Hawk Bradshaw. Who won few matches. Then at 38 was a believeable world champion getting a 1 year title reign.
Most fans dont care whats gone before. Its all about how you book it. to Hankinsons credit he atleast has the look of someone who could kick ass so him beating anyone can be believable. Its EASY to push a wrestler and make them look credible.
That's one thing I hate when people talk about any star(in WWE/TNA). They're like "___ time is up.".
Sure, that person might have been in the company for a few years, but why is their time suddenly up? Are they retiring or something?
Like you said, JBL was like a jobber at age 29. When Austin was 29....
So nobody should really be concerned about anyones wrestling career and the peak of that superstar, until they're in their 30s.
