They weren't a very good judge of wrestler potential, Maven and Adam Levine .

CM Punk is the Steve Austin to TNA's WCW. They had him and they had no idea what to do with him and he left to do other things.

So you agree with me, just because a company is dumb enough to let someone go doesn't mean he's a "reject".
WWE could also have joe and aj styles, are they steve austin to WWE's WCW? I don't think so.
It's all subjective... wrestlers aren't promotion A or B property.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread
I'm not saying they are, I've said it many times now pick stars form WWe is okay its when they put THOSE guys OVER guys becuse IMO they where WWE is what bugs me.
I dont mind if they have angle etc over, but you should not have as many of them compared to "your guys"
It's the only reasson those guys are in the main event and what not.
make more of their "own stars" as it where
Basccily i dont want to see hardy, angle, anderseron, and all the other WWE\WCW guys being on top always, make room for others.

If you are fired from your six figure salary by a company that grosses 10s of millions of dollars per year and runs several weekly arena shows and you signed for a smaller promotion who can no longer afford Velvet Sky and Alex Shlley, I'd say "reject" is the word I use. If you miss out on a young talent like CM Punk because you are have no eye for talent, then that makes it the companies fault, not the wrestler.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread
Not for the likes of Alex Shelley they can't. If you are at a certain level, prepare to be fucked. There are different scales of what TNA can afford. The pay scale in TNA is horrendous. The rich are very rich and the poor are very poor. The fact they allow Alex Shelley to leave and keep the likes of Rob Van Dam and Mr Anderson under contract says a lot about their talent relations department.
