Re: Who Was And Wasn't Part of Aces and 8's Last Night; More News on the Group
I cant see that on PWInsider at all. I see something saying "D'Lo follows them on twitter, so it could be him involved" or something. All the guys on Thursday were white.

Without thinking about how James Storm could be the leader or anything, all I'm going to say is that Storm could do one hell of a job as the leader of Aces and Eights.
If they have a leader you can be 100 per cent sure it is someone you allready know and have seen on television before. If somebody mysterious person arrives it has ALWAYS ended up being someone active and someone you allready know.
Just see Vince McMahon was revealed as being under the robe as the Greater Power. The WWE has revealed Hornswoggle as to be the anynomous general manager. Abyss is being used as Joseph Parks. Eric Young has also been the man behind several story lines. You can list them on and on and on.
So my bet is, if they do have a leader, it is not someone you expect from the past. It will probally be someone you have seen for weeks on television. It could for instance be "the Pope". I know you always expect something surprising to happen and then it never happens.
TNA should tease that Jarrett is the leader and have him cut a promo on impact saying "I am a member of aces and eights but not their leader, their leader is a member of the TNA roster bla bla"

Re: Who Was And Wasn't Part of Aces and 8's Last Night; More News on the Group
If they're going to keep going forward with the mask thing they need to throw a few more notable names in there. The reveal won't be interesting if the crowd barely know them.
Having said that, I think part of the point is that they're not all huge stars, so that makes it trickier.
JJ as the leader with RKK, AAA plus NOAH involved also add Joey Ryan and some indy guys to make it a world vs TNA storyline. It fits well and could see tons of fresh face's on TV with a core group and tons of other people coming to help from all over, plus it works with TNA relationships with RKK, AAA, NOAH and there new one's with the indy companies.
Re: Who Was And Wasn't Part of Aces and 8's Last Night; More News on the Group
Smart move on their part to keep people guessing. I'd really like to see Gallows, Knox, Compton, and Masters all end up in the final reveal but doubt it will play out that way. Gallows apparently has a gimmick like that in RKK and Knox looks the part so they're probably in.
Don't think we've escalated to the point of unveiling yet, think the next move should be a run down on someone maybe with a motorbike or a drive by on a motorbike with a steel pipe over someones skull.
Not escalated enough yet for any tease/unveil think they need to take someone out with a vehicle or heavy weapon.
I would mark the fuck out if the ninja's get kidnapped by them, would be hilarious if not logical.
Re: Aces and Eights will strike again tonight BUT...
I don't care who is in the group ..
I don't care what their motivations are ..
I don't care who they attack next ..
I don't care if they are ex-WWE, ex-TNA or complete newcomers ..
I don't care about any of the above as much as I worry this storyline won't stick. A good invasion angle needs time and investment. They could have failed Gut Check entrants, Jeff Jarret and the goddamn Ultimate Warrior in their midst, with a desire to take over TNA then destroy WWE and NJPW, but none of it will matter if the storyline falters and dies within 4 months.
Good luck TNA. You have a terrible track record with stables so far.
Re: Who Was And Wasn't Part of Aces and 8's Last Night; More News on the Group
So for now we have Gallows, Knox and Brisco confirmed. I like where this is going. Three big guys, that are looking for a shot to get their careers back on track. I wouldn't say no to Compton and Masters...
If I was booking, I wouldn't base the whole story on 'the reveal'...because once the reveal happens, I'm not sure what happens next. I would prefer the story be used to introduce a new character as the leader, but that's just me.
And I certainly wouldn't have the leader be Jeff Jarrett. I thought the group had a biker vibe, and that's not Jarrett's style.
