Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

Am I the only one who keeps thinking the surprise leader could be Sting? It all started with Sting's HOF announcement and it seems Sting will be in a 2 v 2 at BFG. Also A&8's need someone with starpower to make it work and Sting has it.

The motive for doing this could be... um idk.. jealous of Hogan?.. or him feeling sidelined since Hogan showed up at TNA etc. etc. The only reason why I wouldnt mind Sting being the mastermind behind this is because I for one would like to see a Heel Sting with a biker gimmick with no facepaints. Plus it would be better and fresh than Bischoff, Jarret or Hogan.. all three who are possible suspects at this point for being the mastermind behind A&8's.

THE REBEL

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

The leader should someone who can still wrestle. In some point in this story i can see TNA team getting some advantage over the Aces, and the leader should be like videogame "boss", someone who goes into action and just dominates over any competition. Ultimately, he would be the guy to beat in order to end the Aces.

That role would never fit in guys like Hogan, Bischoff or even Jarrett and Sting.

THEREVOLUTION

Wishful thinking but I want Raven in Aces & Eights.

Bischoff is into the biker scene, he loved Hog/Road Wild in WCW even though they didn't profit from ticket sales.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Bischoff as the leader of Aces & Eights either. He would be leading a group of wrestlers who feel like they never got a fair shot in TNA, and have returned to take over the company. Of course, that's exactly what Bischoff would be attempting to do is take back control of TNA.

The same reasoning could be used if Jarrett is the leader, which I'd prefer seeing Bischoff over Jarrett.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

I feel like if its Bischoff, its just stepping into the same story that we've been getting since January 2010. In some way or another, since January 2010, its been one stable ft Bischoff vs Hogan stable, or TNA stable, or ECW stable. Just the same old crap. I want something different.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

Bischoff would be the same old tired storyline, I have much more faith in the current writers to deliver a good payoff. I would like to see it be Bully, can't think of anybody else they could do it with.

While Bischoff makes sense, his character is EXTREMELY stale. Please, no more "Immortal" promos.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

I am really hoping the payoff to this Storyline is Huge, and not a way to bring someone like Jarrett or Bischoff back. As this is why I started watching wrestling years ago. Great job TNa, eerr Impact wrestling.. Like Shane O Mac puhsing Kane into a dumpster on fire, or when Lesnar stole Austins atv. It's getting people to tune in every week to see what Aces and Eights will do, or won't do. Or what Hogan and Sting will do. It would be awesome, if it turned out Jarrett was the leader and behind this all along, and is the manager for these new guys like Masters, Gallows etc. This is why I've been tuning into IMPACT more than WWE. Lately after the two hour mark, I've been tuning out from watching the stale wwe product. And not to mention the Aries vs Hardy M.E at B.F.G. Now that should be a Match.Of.The.Year candidate. Very well done IMPACT wrestling, keep the good job up. No wonder guys like Angle, Team 3D, Booker T, Christian Cage, Jeff and Matt Hardy decided to jump ship and helped TNA Wrestling. They saw a promotion, that they knew was going to be huge one day...

I Believe IN ME

I Believe IN ME

I Believe IN ME.....

I am That DAMN GOOD.

Rest In Peace....

I am Awesome..

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

In the end of the day. Even if its to obvous. I still think Storm heel as the leader would be epic. It just fits so well.He is bad ass.

I also think Aries would be a decent fit.As he is epic as a heel.Though that would effect his entire character.
