Meltzer has been wrong before and Roode's gimmick is too corporate to be associated with outlawz

That attack on Sting was the Impact right after Slammy...easy to explain that Sting who had been a thorn in Roode's side sealed his fate by SDD'ing Roode off the stage at Slammiversary.

They already planted the seeds of people thinking it was Roode. He was the one everyone initially blamed.

Jeff Jarrett doesnt exactly scream "Born to be Wild" either. The whole idea of a biker gang is that someone is paying them to do their dirty work. Have you not seen Sons of Anarchy? The Aces and Eights are a bunch of guys doing paid work. The fact Roode has a lot of money might actually explain a lot of unanswered questions.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

Bully Ray is the perfect man for the job, he's known for having the old school mentally backstage.
In this case he would be bringing new talent and raise them in his image while dominating TNA in 2013.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

Jarrett seems more legit have you never heard of outlaw country?

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

Don't think it's Roode and I really hope they don't reveal it as someone who has already been attacked, needs to be someone new coming in or someone coming back. I'll be honest I really want it to be Jarrett, him coming in as part of a gang reminding everyone he's the founder of the company could lead to some really great stuff. Not to mention promos he could do with Sting over him not being the 1st inductee into the hall of fame.

I just love what they are doing with the storyline, slowly building it, not rushing the reveal to try and get a ratings spike but really telling a deep story. It's been going since Slammiversary and yet there are so many questions still - who's behind it? who is involved in the group? why are they in TNA?

I have. I haven't seen a dude from Tennessee dress up like a biker and not look like a queer before, though.

Bingo. Roode was actually trying to reveal that he was the one who was behind the Aces and Eights on the OFN where the Aces and Eights attacked Aries when he went to shake their hand but the Aces and Eights knew it wasn't the time so they had to teach Roode a lesson whilst throwing everyone off of Roode's track. That's when the plan was made to blame it on Storm.

However, like you mentioned, Roode isn't the President or even a member of the group. Roode's paying them to help him and cause total chaos. The President of the group will hopefully be a very pleasant surprise.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

If Roode was behind it Aces & 8's would have helped him regain his title at Hardcore Justice. I still think Bully is the leader, but he wont wrestle Aries till Lockdown. In order to extend this feud and make A&8s look strong they need to go over at BFG.
