Its probably only still a secret cuz its either someone in house or someone that isnt a huge name. They did an amazing job with Angle when he first came but its almost impossible to keep a secret these days especially for huge angles involving mysterious figures.

TNA has done an amazing job keeping this storyline fresh. Its not like they did the usual huge stable kicks ass every week until faces group together to stop them. Excited to see where it goes and i hope when these guys are unmasked they still feel dangerous and a big deal.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

I think Shaun Ricker, will one of the guys who gets patched into the group. He had a dark match will TNA two weeks ago and skip WWE invite only tryout this past week along with Scorpio Sky which skipped the event also.

Sorry for that off-topic reply.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

There have never been as many unpredictable outcomes for who's involved behind this Aces and Eights fiasco. I give Lagana/Pritchard their props for doing just that.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

I think the guesses about this group being about guys who couldn't get into TNA are correct.

Let's not forget this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXaWWPL9HOE

This was Wes Brisco talking to Kurt Angle. In the middle of the video he asks Kurt if he can put in a word for him about Hogan so that he can get a shot in TNA. I bet you that when he's revealed as one of the members of Aces and Eights he's gonna be pissed that Kurt never did that for him. In this case, it would also make sense that one of the members is Joey Ryan as well. Wouldn't surprise me if we see Kurt vs Brisco at BFG. Personally, I like Brisco minus the stupid tattoos on his leg. There's something very heelish and douche about him which is a good thing.

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

once this storyline is over, probably around BFG or the next ppv after, I wonder where all these guys will go, will they have a permanent home in TNA or will they be future endeavored

"....We can't change what happened at Virginia Tech. We can't change what happened at Columbine. But maybe we can change the lives of the people around us. We shouldn't need tragedies to remind us that people are sad, broken and aching. The world is our family, if you notice someone alone or hurting or lost, reach out to them. Give of yourself. Heal the wounds inflicted by others. Replace hurt with kindness before hate grows in the empty space where love should be."

Re: Aces & Eights Discussion Thread

Some people just have no idea how long this storyline will last and whose involved. Good thing too, because then everything would be spoiled.

And that's not an insult, it's just a fact of life!
