Even the wrestling has suffered from all the silly stips and garbage added to every match. The whole Ken Wayne, Danny Davis, and Sojo Bolt storyline fighting over control of OVW, is easily the worst and most ridiculous storyline in wrestling. Those three authority figures are hogging all the attention and not getting any young wrestlers over. Which is the whole point of OVW. To prepare young talent and get them over.

I don't think Bruce Prichard, Dave Lagana, or hell even Hulk Hogan would like what is passing for a wrestling promotion up in Kentucky. TNA badly needed a development territory, but man, OVW needs to get with it and start producing some major talent rather than bad television. I love Taeler Hendirx, but she needs more ring experience. So of course OVW books her in an "Evening Gown" match for the title. Yeah, that will help her get better. Just garbage.
Yeah, WWE under Russo stupid which made gave the WWE its most popular period and greatest ever success.

So damm stupid Russo, you stupid man.

The worse thing is oVw doesn't have the quality agents/bookers they did when WWE's developmental. Dreamer was over a lot of it when it was WWE's camp and he isn't over it anymore.

TNA really hasn't even sunk their teeth into OVW yet. When they do, it'll be a good time. But for now, can we all just pop some bags of corn, and enjoy the greatness that is JoVw aka The Talent Arbitrator, aka My Tits are bigger than yours aka I kicked that bitch in the face on Tuesday aka Sojourner Bolt.

Question is will they ever really sink their teeth into oVw or will it become a wasted opportunity.

I would send some of the talent they're not using down there. Taeler for example could learn a lot from working with the likes of Winter/Sarita.

I get the feeling that would be way more expensive than TNA is willing to go for. They've only just got their toes in on the whole developmental thing, starting with the Gut Check really and maybe some OVW workers will show up in this new faction as well, but then that's more getting new people on the actual roster and presumably PPA contracts and not really a restructuring of the development fed. Do they even have anyone on a developmental contract? Jessie Godderz?

The main problem with OVW right now is that the authority figures in their convoluted storyline are dominating the promotion. Ken Wayne, Danny Davis, and Sojo Bolt should not be driving the promotion. The focus should be on the wrestlers and the belts if they are going to produce talent for TNA. That is how you develop talent. The fact that Danny Davis had to wrestle recently against champion Rob Terry just tells you all you need to know. It is like Vince Russo is booking there.

If you even had the slightest bit of reading comprehension, you would have been able to read that I wrote nothing about WWE under Vince Russo. I said "TNA under Vince Russo." TNA under Vince Russo was an overbooked mess where little made sense. Oh, and a history lesson. Vince Russo only played a part in the Attitude Era. He had a filter in Vince McMahon. And the Attitude Era also had a ton of Vince Russo booked garbage, like anything Val Venis did, that got ignored because Austin, Foley, and the Rock were so hot. A lot of credit also has to go to WWF blindly ripping off ECW.

Back then it felt like you were watching the stars of tomorrow today, now you don't feel that.
There's good talent there but none of them looks "big" enough because the TNA-OVW connection isn't working.
You have 2 separated promotions and nobody from OVW makes a impact in TNA (besides alex silva but where is he?)
If they had a guy like al snow on OVW as ali vaez manager saying "this kid is going to be the next big thing", you got a star right there.

TNA needs to push at least one guy as a big star from OVW in order to send a message to locker room and the world saying "OVW is the future"
