Re: TNA/OVW Partnership Discussion Thread
Is Danny Davis still around at OVW? I've completely lost track of them ever since they broke up from the WWE so I have no clue? I know Dinsmore is still down there as I read an interview with him a couple of months ago? Imagine if OVW could produce talent for TNA like they did for WWE? Remember, OVW produced Benjamin, Haas, Cena, Orton, Batista, Lesnar, Elijah Burke, Morrison, Mercury, Lashley, Kennedy, Rene Dupree (who is so underrated it's unreal), Gail Kim and more! Compare that to any other developmental camp like FCW and theres nothing.
But bare in mind a lot of the time, when those stars were being created, Cornette was in charge down there and like him or not, he knows talent, tbh.

Right Now, FCW > OVW by far.

Danny Davis is the owner of OVW so yeah - he's still there.
Dinsmore's the head trainer of the OVW school.
The thing that makes OVW the perfect indy fed to be developmental, even more so than FCW, is that it is run like the big companies are i.e. it has weekly television tapings, monthly big events, plenty of house shows. It really is like an old school territory in that sense where you can really learn your craft and develop in multiple aspects. No other indy fed has that. That being said, while the OVW set up is great at the end of the day it's all about the type of talent that TNA decides to send there. If they send guys with potential OVW will produce good results but if they send guys who are not that good it's really doubtful that OVW will be able to turn chicken s**t into chicken salad. It's all about good talent scouting. It really is.

Re: TNA/OVW Partnership Discussion Thread
NWA Hollywood is becoming the same type of promotion like OVW, TNA should scout there as well. Weekly tv, they just start doing house shows. Aries was in NWA Hollywood for awhile.

Re: TNA/OVW Partnership Discussion Thread
Completely add unto everything. Rob Terry became the 6th Man to be a Triple Crown winner in oVw.
Here is a pre-show interview with The Family.
