What's going on with Sting?

Sting told Dixie he couldn't focus on being gm and being a wrestler and he wanted to wrestle more. Did he mean in TNA or another promotion? I haven't seen him wrestle on Thursday nights since he turned gm over to Hulk. Is he doing road shows? Maybe he will take Storms spot for a while and feud with Roode? That would be a great feud! Sting in the ring will boost ratings, probably more than Storm. Sting certainly has more personality. Bring us more Sting!

I'm pretty sure she meant he would be with the company long term rather than he's gonna take 6 months off, they wouldn't pay him to sit at home doing nothing. I think I read somewhere he's advertised for Slammiversary.

Re: What's going on with Sting?

Well as the storyline goes anyway, big bad Bobby Roode was too much for Sting "the GM" to handle but he thinks Sting "the wrestler" can get the job done against Roode so he has to go home and start training to be a full-time wrestler again,

And when talking to Hogan the week after the epic Hogan circle-jerk in the ring when Hogan accepted the role of GM. When they were talking backstage Hogan did mention that he appreciates having Sting have his back, but Sting should go home, rest and start healing. And Sting also said that he "wishes he could just clear himself and get back to doing his job" so he could also be carrying an injury.

Re: What's going on with Sting?

I'm fine with Sting wrestling again on a part time basis. But if he ends up winning the world title from Bobby Roode, I will be taking a break from TNA for awhile. Last thing I wanna see is Sting with the world title again.

Not Removing This Until:

-John Cena loses Clean []
-Dolph Ziggler wins the World Title []
-The Undertaker Retires []

Re: What's going on with Sting?

Sting is tough and very popular with the audience always chanting his name. He would be a good champ for a little while. But to me most face champs aren't very good. A good storyline imo would be for Sting to win the belt, Storm comes back as a heel 10 times worse than Roode and wins the belt from Sting. I dont think Storm would be good as a face champy but would be as a heel champ. It just seems heels create more drama and ratings. But I'm in no hurry for Roode to lose the belt, to me he is the best champ they've had in a long while, lots of drama with him. I like him and his arrogance. He's cool.

Re: What's going on with Sting?

Are Hogan and Sting on fixed salaries, or is there a certain appearance quota that they have to fulfil half yearly/yearly? If itís the former, TNA have absolutely no business sense.
