What do you think will be the next big angle in TNA?

This thread has been bumped from 2011, this is not a new thread, repeat, this is not a new thread. This has been bumped in order to see which predictions for 2012 came true, as well as to discuss other talking points.

After Roode vs Storm has ended (for the time being), where do you think think TNA's product will head towards creatively? No spam or flaming other people's ideas please, try to stay on topic. My predictions:

A Jeff Hardy (not that I'm advocating it) redemption angle seems likely, possibly leading to a bound for glory series win and title victory. If Roode carries the world title all the way (defeating Hardy a couple times, telling him his junkie ass is not worthy of the world title) to Lockdown where he drops it to Storm, I can see him regaining it a couple months later and then putting over Hardy at BFG. 'Redemption completed'.

With so many worked shoot angles being used in todays wrestling industry, I could invision TNA running a TNA 'veterans' vs industry 'legends' angle, guys like AJ, Joe, Shelley and Storm (faces) could become frustrated with their lack of opportunities, targeting the likes of RVD, Bully Ray, Anderson and Hardy (heels, apart from Hardy) who they feel recieve preferential treatment due their past reputations. Instead of the heels being dominant, I'd have the faces running riot (a different twist) every week, causing havoc to gain attention, possibly getting kayfabe fired and illegally infesting the impact zone (even as fans). Hardy could work the sympathiser role (tying into his redemption angle) by trying to call a treaty between both sides, convincing Sting and Dixie to bring them back, leading to Hardy siding with the faces. The angle could run from mid 2011 and conclude during a lethal Lockdown match in the 2012 edition of the pay per view.

Those are my wild and most like off target predictions, what are yours?

That industry veteran / TNA veteran angle is terrible; same thing we've seen over and over again and it became boring the first time.

Good start, how about contributing your own ideas? No flaming please, like I said.

Eric Bischoff will continue making Garretts life hard.

Hulk Will get to a point where he's sick of seeing this and will form a stable with Gunner, Garrett Bischoff, Crimson + Magnus (to show he's down with the fans wanting new faces in the M.E) then to combat this Eric Bischoff will have his own stable that will consist of the more well knowns Bully Ray, Scott Steiner, Robert Roode, Angle etc... after 8 months of the newbies getting their ass kicked Hulk HOgan will don the red and yellow one more time and be the sole survivor in a 4 on 4 elimination tag where its left in a 3 on 1 situation showing there is no hope for Hogan to possibly win.

Re: What do you think will be the next big angle in TNA?

Please no more stable wars, I'm tired of it, I don't want to see another Fortune, Immortal, Frontline, MEM, nothing.

As for a Jeff Hardy redemption angle, I'd actually rather see Jeff win the World title sooner, and be the one defending it at BFG 2012. I'd like to see AJ go heel. It all started with that promo they had a few months ago.

Styles can't take it anymore that the fans forgive, management forgives Hardy and gives him opportunities over and over again, while he has been there for almost 10 years, and gets put on the back burner for Hardy.

I'd have AJ win the BFG series, and immediately cut a promo on Hardy and the fans right there in the ring, and claim that at BFG 2012 he will save TNA.

After Samoa Joe's tag team with Magnus ends, he goes on a rampage and starts a new winning streak with him winning the TNA Championship and proving to everyone that he's still a badass motherfucker.

Re: What do you think will be the next big angle in TNA?

Another power struggle storyline. *yawn*
It'll feature Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Ric Flair and Dixie Carter. It'll all end when Sting pins Jeff Hardy in 30 seconds.

Re: What do you think will be the next big angle in TNA?

Alright, sorry.

First off, Ratedr4Life, I personally feel that if Hardy didn't fuck up, he would have kept the title until Bound For Glory where he would have faced AJ Styles in an all or nothing type match; Hardy representing Immortal and AJ representing Fortune and TNA. That is where it should have gone to, IMO. I don't think AJ should turn heel at all because to be quite honest, he needs to stay one disposition for more than two or three years at a time if he and TNA really expects us to believe he's a real person instead of a character, if that makes sense. Keep him face for another two years, I say.

In answer to the question, I'm going to answer in what I feel SHOULD or I WANT to happen, rather than what WOULD happen because quite frankly, we can't rely on TNA to provide gripping, interesting and simple feuds to be honest - But that is just me being very pessimistic, you can call this fantasy booking.

I'd have Roode and Storm facing at Lockdown, where Roode will win through some dirty tactics and at Slammiversary, it'll be a multi-man match featuring both Storm and Roode, as well as someone else/some other people. Storm will gain the victory and win the title without Roode being involved in the decision so that adds fuel to the fire and gives Roode ammunition, saying that Storm still has never beaten Bobby Roode. Then have the opposite of what's happening now with James Storm, building up to face Roode, and have Bobby building up to face Storm at BFG. You could make Sting say that Bobby is now at the back of the line and has to work his way up. Meanwhile, have AJ work his way up as well, defeating the likes of Bully Ray, a heel Anderson etc. KEEP ALL THREE MEN APART.

Have both men's (Roode and Styles) efforts go noticed by Sting or whoever the authority figure is, and book a number one contender's match between Styles and Roode with Storm being the special guest referee. Have the match end in a suspicious fashion, giving either AJ or Roode a reason to protest. Then have said superstar to fight for another chance at BFG because they didn't have a fair fight at No Surrender.

Three-way between Styles, Storm and Roode for BFG. You have the ongoing rivalry between Roode and Storm, with the added dynamic of Storm still never defeating Roode (because Bobby wasn't involved in the decision at Slammy). Add on the wildcard in AJ who has been credibly built and isn't entirely bothered about the vendetta between Roode and Storm, but instead wants to be the figurehead of TNA by showing heart, courage and determination.

Fantasy Booking ftw.

In answering your proper question, I see Roode vs. Hardy at BFG. Somehow they're going to build that up, whether it be Hardy winning another BFG series or whathaveyou, somehow or someway, Hardy is leaving BFG with the title whether he went in there with it or not. Storm will be in an upper-midcard match with maybe Sting in his retirement match, or maybe even AJ. God knows, but Roode will come out of this looking more of a star than Storm, I'd be willing to put money on that.

Hopefully something that involves Joe, Magnus, Daniels and Aries. Idk, anything but power struggles and family dramas.
