Default TNA Storylines...

Sometimes, I'm just at a loss with their storyline direction.

After seeing the "wrestler got hit by a car" storyline make its way on television AGAIN...and then the "who's driving the car in the freeze frame of the surveillance video" angle is just laughable.

The Knockouts Division has no direction and it's obvious that TNA management looks at it as great ratings with zero dignity. Even Angelina stopped selling Velvet Sky's ungodly terrible offense on Monday during their match because she knew it was just degrading...it's like seeing great actors in terrible movies where they know they're in a flop and it shows.

I honestly don't think TNA has an original bone left in their body anymore.

Russo is so out of touch with wrestling fans today that it is unreal...Hogan too for that matter since I know he has some say in creative. Nobody wants to see rehashed storylines from 10+ years ago.

I would just prefer to see more personal storylines...something that actually makes me care about what goes on.

These old guys in the ring just don't draw anymore...outside of nostalgic factor, TNA is not utilizing most of their senior wrestlers for shit. They should be putting newer guys over rather than soaking up airtime...the future of TNA is not Hogan, Flair, Jarrett, and the Wolfpac (Band)...

P.S. - WAY to hire RVD and make him a f'n chump...

The storylines are way better than any of the competition, just give it some time to build them up or do you understand a movie if you watch it from end to beginning?

This is what I've been thinking. TNA seem to have it all wrong at the moment. When Jeff Hardy came back to TNA, until the previous Summerslam he had been the WWE champion: i.e. one of the biggest current stars in wrestling. When it came to Hardy's return to Impact, it was as if the return of such a big, current star was a mere footnote to the return of Hogan and the Band.
Some of the crowd chants I've heard say it all about the current state of TNA: "That was awesome! ...Twenty years ago."
The storylines suck because the creative team are trying to re-live the glory days of WCW.
TNA has been great over the past 2 years, but now, I'm not so sure.

I cant think of a single TNA story that had a satisfying climax. Not a damn one.

The thing that really annoys me about TNA storylines is when they look like they may have produced potentially a good feud just say on Impact? The next weeks show, it's totally forgot about.

TNA lacks direction, yes this is the general consensus of most of us non-TNA marks.

honestly, they have a great product in their hands, i just wish they'd actually use it correctly.
like you said, RVD, and Hardy for that matter, have become nothing but lackies, cronies to Hogan and the "bigger plan." if they honestly become an official tag team, i don't know if ill have a forehead strong enough to withstand the facepalm i'll have to do.

It's just flat out stupid. RVD and Hardy(and Angle) are the biggest names that TNA has in wrestling TODAY. Obviously Flair and Hogan are bigger, but everyone knows they are done.

RVD and Hardy are legit superstars right NOW, and both have a lot left in the tank. They were both WWE champions within the last 3-4 years. They should be the top 2 faces in TNA.(Angle should be heel, he's way more entertaining as a heel)

that's because the climax comes is the end...you should know the best thing aren't done in 2 minutes and if you want to fast forward the storylines how can you enjoy it?

That wasn't his point, I'm sure, it's the endings of angles that blow. Take the months of build of AJ's masked attacker. Everyone knew it was Tomko, but the blowoff sucked. A match, on Impact, then never mentioned again. No rematch, no continuation, just blown on one TV taping. An ex tag partner coming back for revenge is EASY to book and they fucked it up. It's the same with nearly every angle- the getting there is great, but the finish is so anti-climatic. It's really a shame.
