DDP To TNA?

Quote:
DDP was recently interviewed by Slam Sports about his fitness program and TNA:

Eventually I am sure at some point in time when they need a guest referee I may consider it. I want to do the Piper thing, he shows up for two months and then is gone for nine. That is the only kind of thing I want to do, and I am in the shape to still do it," Page told Jason Clevett for Slam Wrestling. "I probably have ten really good matches left in me, and I am not gonna throw them away or just put them out there. If they are willing to pay me to come back, and it behooves me, maybe.
I knew he will be coming....

Re: DDP To TNA?

see this is why i will always be a DDP fan. the guy is not like some older wrestlers that should have retired years ago. he knows hes not 30 anymore but will only come back if the money is right and if it benefits the person he is putting over. plus for a 57 year old guy he is still in damn good shape.

Last time i was in San Francisco i went downtown lookin for a womun, you know what i mean? I WANTED A WOMUN!!! I COULDN'T FIND NO WOMUN!! I FOUND A LOTTA MEN THAT LOOKED LIKE WIMMIN!!!!!

Re: DDP To TNA?

He said if they ask him. IF. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. But it is nice that he just wants to do it part time, that way it won't get repetitive.

If they ask him, the Hogan era is the 90's part 2

Re: DDP To TNA?

I would not mind if he shows up like Piper does in the WWE. It would be better than Honkytonk man that's for sure.

If that's the case then I wouldn't care. I'd actually be kind of excited to see him again. But I don't trust Hogan and Bischoff not giving him the chance to wrestle again. I don't wanna see another washed up wrestler like the Nasty Boys filling a PPV match slot when there's so many other people who could do a match in it's place.

Re: DDP To TNA?

At one time, I honestly thought DDP was the hardest working guy in the business. He's sort of been written off because he was a star in WCW, and just about everything they've done has been written off except for the early nWo, Sting, & Ric Flair. But check out DDP in 97-00. He was very good. One of my favorite matches from WCW's history was his Halloween Havoc match with Goldberg. Yeah that's right. He had a great match with Goldberg.

I wouldn't mind him coming in and doing special things here and there. The days of big pushes for him are over, but if they managed to get some great stuff out of him, that'd be cool.

Re: DDP To TNA?

TNA doesn't want DDP--at least Dixie won't. When he was in the company, he refused to job and he refused to even take beatdowns. In other words, DDP is worthless.
