the KOTM was on the June 2nd show the anniversary show would be June 16th or 23rd show with AMW vs Abyss/Monty Brown or Jarret vs Killings being the main event.

that was the show where Raven started his program with Sabu...

My mistake, it's been a long time

but I do stand corrected that the King of the Mountain matches have been prominent in the month June, which was when TNA was started (2002)

It's obvious TNA is calling this Slammi 7 because they were founded seven years ago. And of course it's not exactly seven years, but neither is Wrestlemania. Seven years, Slammi seven... it isn't that hard, is it?

I hope they give Love/Tara at least 10 minutes AND please don't take the title off Love. They made the mistake of quickly pushing Taylor for the title last year. Let Love retain this time and put Tara over once she's been around longer in TNA. I believe this is the first PPV since Kong's debut which she HASN'T wrestled on. Wow, just shows that they're finally willing to let the other women do their thing.

The build for the KO's title as well as the tag title matches have been the best so far.

Why are people bitching that hard about them calling the show Slammi 7? Seriously, it's the 7th anniversary so that's what they called it. Not really a big deal.

I just saw the new preview for Slammiversary and they are hyping the show as having a double main event with the two King of the Mountain matches. Interesting that they are giving the X Division a semi main event spot...even though they'll probably be opening the show (which is the best move IMO)

I’m hoping the X Division KotM match isn’t the opener. It’s likely going to be the most action-filled match of the night so you don’t want to burn out the crowd early. Starting the show with a bunch of high spots the other matches can't top isn't good either when there's another ladder and a hardcore match on the card. On paper it's a possible match of the night so you don't want to have the show peak in the first match. Plus I think the X Division guys deserve a better spot on the card than curtain jerking yet again.
