The best thing for TNA on a whole would be to have Angle walk out with the title. The best thing for Jarrett is that Jarrett walks out champion. I will be seriously pissed if Jarrett becomes champion again, there are plenty of wrestlers that deserve to carry the company more than Jarrett. His hogging of the belt was what turned me off watching TNA a few years ago (and the whole Raven thing), and there is hardly any point in him becoming champion from a business perspective.

angle has become a main event jobber..., there is no way he wins the title..
and i believe jarrett will win..this is why
champs:
Mick Foley x1
Jeff Jarrett x6
AJ Styles x3
Samoa Joe x1
Kurt Angle x2

as you can see from the list, jarrett is a 6 time TNA World Champion.

And with him being in the KOTM, if he won he would become a 7 time TNA World Champion.

And with 7 being the emphasis of the PPV, I thought that it was highly possible that Jeff may win the KOTM this year.

I think AJ Styles is going to go over in KOTM. Hopefully he does and it leads to AJ vs. Daniels vs. Joe at Bound for Glory V.

Kurt Angle should get the title. If jarret gets the strap i might quit watching if he still has it when stings retires.

I really think JJ will be close to getting it,like about to fully hook the belt on then EY screws him thus getting good heat and setting up more personal stuff with them,Angle may be mr opurtunsit and gets the win/title.

I agree. For their big anniversary show, the build has been poor. It really hit me after last week’s show when I realized they didn’t even run through the announced matches once on Impact, the card isn’t fully announced with a week to go, and the matches they seem to be building aren't happening on the PPV. It’s unfortunate as this is supposedly one of their biggest shows of the year and the top three matches should be good-great.

I remember last year on the PPV they had each of the KotM participants spend two or three minutes talking about what it would mean to win the match. I think it would’ve been a great idea to have done that again this year except run those promos on TV instead of the PPV people already purchased; say one or two a week on the show following their qualifier (I hope they do something like that this week, but I doubt it). Instead, as you mentioned, the build for that match is no where to be found: Foley and Jarrett are doing bad comedy bits; AJ is focused more on the Daniels/Douglas feud than his chance to become World Champion again (he even missed TV the week after he qualified for the main event); Joe is focused on taking out the MEM ending with Angle who is in the match, but isn’t champion nor the leader of the group; Angle is preoccupied with Sting, Morgan, and the Mafia drama. Do any of those guys even want to be champion?

In the X Division KotM, the challengers didn’t have to qualify like in the other KotM, the challengers have had very little interaction with the champion, the champion wasn’t even on the show this week, and I’m not even sure why Lethal Consequences want to unmask Suicide. Although they’re supposedly heels, I think they’re wasting a good opportunity by not having the Guns cut a substantial promo on being in a title match in their hometown akin to what Christian did last year and 3D did this year (they may do that this week, but again, it’s doubtful).

In the tag title program, the last two weeks they seem to have spent more time focusing on the British Invasion maybe injecting themselves into the tag title picture than on Team 3D vs. Beer Money. To me, it seems like they're looking ahead to the B show next month rather than the A show this month.

Daniels/Douglas actually has had a fair amount of build; it just makes no sense. Them jumping to a loser leaves town match after three weeks is kind of stupid and out of left field. It’s completely absurd for Daniels to be willing to put up his job here.

The Knockout’s Title match is the only match whose build I can’t complain about other than that terrible backstage segment last week when the Beautiful People tried to jump Tara.

I'm willing to bet on this if Joe is in the match and not hurt, he'll go over and almost kill Kurt Angle than at Victory Road they'll do a Leathel Lockdown rules match for the title or something where he "kills Angle" and than Angle runs off to WWE. It makes perfect sense really

Joe is hurt and probably will be taking time off to recover after this PPV. I expect the MEM to finally get the upper hand on him and hurt him at Slammiversary. Personally I'd be shocked if anybody but Foley or Jarrett win this match. Their whole feud has been based on the title. Since Foley is upset at Jarrett for ruining his fun as champion and Jarrett doesn't believe he's worthly of the title and making a joke of his company. So I expect one of them to be champion after Slammiversary and to continue to feud over the title. Anybody else winning the title would be totally out of leftfield. Joe cares more about hurting the MEM then he does about titles and is currently really hurt. Angle is having issues with Sting/Morgan and worried that Joe might kill him. AJ is just there and there has been no focus on him winning the belt plus he's Legends Champion. I can see that people don't like the outcome being Foley or Jarrett winning that match, but that makes the most sense right now storyline wise.

I think Jarrett winning the title is the most likely outcome with Foley finding a way to retain a close second. If there was more emphasis on Jarrett winning previous KOTM matches or how many times he held the belt or even Jarrett talking about winning the title. It would make me feel that it's even more likely to happen. But right now there's been no hype about Jarrett, Angle, AJ or Joe winning the belt and none of them have even talked about it. Basically the only person talking about winning the match is Foley with his defending the belt 1-4 times a year thing. So it almost feels like they don't wanna disappoint people and hype other guys up when Foley is just gonna retain the title in probably some screw job way.

I'm just being picky but it's one of those things that annoys me, why the hell is it called Slammiversary 7? it's not the 7th one. Yes the company has existed for 7 years but it's only the 5th edition of Slammiversary. It's like if Vince decided that instead of WM 25 he was going to jump to WM 30 just cos that's how long the WWE(F) has existed.
