Damn, the last iMPACT got me pumped for Genesis. I really wish I could order it, but I'm just really poor right now (and saving for tickets and gas for a possible Lockdown in Philly) and will have to watch on a shitty stream. Really solid looking card:
MICK FOLEY RETURNS TO THE RING - 6 MAN WAR : Mick Foley, AJ Styles & Brother Devon vs. Legends Champion Booker T, Kevin Nash and "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner - I see Front Line winning here as they need to build a bit of momentum before the eventual swerve that puts MEM back in control.
TNA WORLD HEAVWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH : "The War Machine" Rhino vs. champion "The Icon" Sting - Sting will win. No way Rhino takes the belt off Sting. That's AJ's belt to take off Sting.
GRUDGE MATCH - RETURN BOUT : Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle vs. TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett - Tough call. Neither man can afford to lose this match clean. Kurt wins dirty.
TNA KNOCKOUT CHAMPIONSHIP - LUMBERJACK MATCH : Christy Hemme vs. champion Awesome Kong - Kong wins while they try like hell to make Christy look semi-credible.
THE FINALS OF THE X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT : One X Division superstar will leave Genesis as the new champion - Shelley gets his first TNA title.
Lethal Consequences vs. Beer Money vs. Abyss & Morgan - Contrary to popular thought, I think Lethal & Creed will win the belts and lead to a feud between themselves and BMI. Morgan & Abyss will melt down leading to Abyss vs. Morgan.
Bashir vs. Sewell - I'm actually pretty psyched for this match. I really don't care who wins I just hope Sewell looks good. Sewell wins.

My thoughts and predictions on the final card for Genesis:
GRUDGE MATCH
Shane Sewell vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir
- They've been building this match for months, and I gotta say, I hated this angle when it first started, but now I am really loving it. Sewell is getting some great reactions and this feud has gotten fairly exciting. I expect a good match, & Sewell to get the win.
TNA KNOCKOUT CHAMPIONSHIP: LUMBERJACK MATCH
Awesome Kong (c) vs. Christy Hemme
Lumberjacks Include: Raisha Saeed, Rhaka Khan, Sojournor Bolt, Taylor Wilde, ODB, & Roxxi
- I would be very surprised if Christy won the title. I think this could be a fun match with all of the factors that are involved, but Kong is going to win without a doubt.
TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: 3 WAY TAG
Lethal Consequences (c) vs. Beer Money Inc vs. Abyss & Matt Morgan
- This could be a sleeper hit. Beer Money is my favorite team in wrestling, and all three teams bring very different styles to the match, so this could be a really fun outing if all of the teams really click with each other. This will be the spotfest of the night, and Lethal & Creed will probably retain.
X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FINALS
Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelley
- OK so with what Foley said, we aren't going to see a situation where one of the Guns will lay down for the other, and Homicide made it sound like he wasn't going to be cashing in his Feast or Fired this Sunday. SOOOOO! It sounds like to me that Shelley & Sabin will have a real competitive match and the IWC will cum in their pants during it. Just kidding, but I do expect a really good match up here, possibly a show stealer if they click. We'll see how it goes down. Anyways, its very hard to pick a winner, but I'll go with Shelley just for the sake of doing something different.
TRIPLE MAIN EVENT:
MICK FOLEY'S RETURN TO THE RING
Mick Foley, AJ Styles, & Brother Devon vs. Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, & Booker T
- Basically, the excitement from this match comes from Foley being in a TNA ring. As long as Foley hits his key spots and contributes enough to please the fans, then it will be fine. This will probably be a solid match that will be made more exciting because of Foley's involvement, and I think it would be disappointing if the faces lost, so give them the win.
TNA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
"The Icon" Sting (c) vs. "The War Machine" Rhino
- I really wish they had built this match up more. I really do because I think it could be a pretty good match. Rhino & Sting are two guys I've never seen against each other, so its interesting from that aspect, and they are two of my favorite guys, so I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what they do. Sting is NOT going to drop the belt. I'll be shocked if he does drop the belt in a match with so little build up.
THE REMATCH
"King of the Mountain" Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle
- This is the true main event of the show, for those who have been following the product over the last month or so. This match will be energy driven & intense. As for who will go over, well, I am going to go ahead and pick Kurt Angle since Jarrett won at BFG, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jarrett won just so they could do something where Angle snaps even more knowing that he probably can't beat Jarrett.
Kong VS Hemme
This match should be really fun, I actually see Hemme winning. TNA has done a good job of building her up, and her winning would be a huge suprize.
Shane VS Bashir
Should be a good match, long build to this match. See Bashir taking the win dirty, and the feud continues, with a gimmick match at the next PPV
BMI VS Lethal Consequnces VS Abyss/Morgan
This match should be crazy with lots of spots. LC winning the belts made the FOF cases look legit and established them as a team. See BMI getting the belts back, and Abyss/Morgan iumploding starting up there feud.
Shelly VS Sabin
Match of the night, IMO. Hopefully no screwy stuff, Shelly will win it and get his first TNA title.
6 Man Tag: FL VS MEM
Give the young guys the win, don't expect to see Foley do much in the match.
Sting VS Rhino
Not much build for this one, expect Sting to get the win, in what should be a decent match.
Angle VS Jarett
This feud and the build for this match has been so well done. This match should be intense. Jarett with the clean win, to set up Angle going even more off the deep end, and to build toward a 3rd match which should be the blow off to the feud.
Jeff Jarrett vs Kurt Angle - Angle will win dirty to set up the final encounter. Might expect a beatdown by Angle after the match to push off the third match to a later ppv.
Rhino vs Sting - Does anybody expect Rhino to win?
Foley, Devon & Styles vs. Steiner, Booker & Nash - The faces will win here to give the Frontline something out of the ppv, wouldn't be surprised to see Joe or Ray help get the win.
Alex Shelley vs Chris Sabin - Maybe MOTN, at the end they'll tease a break-up but then laugh it off
Beer Money Inc. vs Abyss/Morgan vs Lethal Consequences - BMI get the belts back while Abyss and Morgan break-up.
Christy Hemme vs Awesome Kong - Kong should win but I could see Christy sneak out a win if for no other reason than that when Kong beats her, who's left?
Shane Sewell vs Bashir - Unless they want to continue this after Genesis Shane will win here.
The show looks pretty amazing from top to bottom. I can't wait. Does anyone else see Devon or Foley being attacked backstage during the PPV and Daniels becomes the surprise partner for the Front Line? Hopefully this is not just wishful thinking...

Re: Genesis Discussion Thread
2 imp things:
whens the last time Tna had 7 matches on a card?
whens the last time not every member on the roster was on the ppv? 1 of the matches is gunna be a killer match!

That would be great but I'm not sure if their gonna bring him back just yet. It certainly would have to be Dvon who gets attacked, Foley's ring debut is being hyped as a major seller of the PPV and taken him out of that match would be a huge bait and swtich.
Ideally it would be best for him to return alongside Joe and AJ at some point, it would just be such a great moment to have those 3 fighting alongside each other after everything.

1. Final Resolution 2008 (Dec.)
2. Final Resolution 2008 (Dec.) - A lot of knockouts were not on the PPV.

Well, now that I really think about it, with Foley's hyped up in-ring return, it's best to leave Daniels out of things for now. If they go with MEM/FL for Lethal Lockdown, which is pretty much a guarantee, then that would be the perfect time for his return.
