I will not be happy if Curry Man does not get the briefcase that says "fired."
Yeah, same here. I'm pretty confident that he's getting it. He hasn't been seen since Angle snapped and took him out. Why would they randomly stick him in Feast or Fired if they weren't planning on having something happen to him? Seems odd. Not that they don't put people in matches for no apparent reason all the time, but I consider it an indication of plans.
I'm also wondering if there will be a Legends Title shot on the line, I'm assuming there will be and it will probably go to Lethal since him and Booker have shown good chemistry in the ring together and it's also time for Lethal to step up to a main event level.
Petey will probably come back looking like his old self, if he comes back still in the Steiner getup than it wouldn't make any sense at all. Him and Creed will probably take the X and World title shots respectively, not sure which one will get which tho.
Okay. So, I really like Christy, but seriously? Who the fuck believes that she is a credible threat to Kong? She's not a dreadful wrestler, but come on.
I get the feeling that Dutt or Rave will be getting the X-Division, they NEED a push...
It makes no sence that Dutt won his feud with Lethal but hasn't been used since.
Before this Impact I was hoping that Curryman got the case and in celebration accidentally opened it revealing he was fired. Then for the ME him and Senshi return to join the front line.
I haven't followed TNA that long, but can some of you shed some light on why Daniels needs to come back? You talk of him as if he's the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Also Abyss/Morgan haven't been feuding with Beer Money lately, so the intensity between those two teams has tapered off severely. A Beer Money/3D matchup feels a little out of place because of 3D's recent decision to join the FL.
Bashir/Sewell would be a good matchup, but it would benefit them more if the ME's were better. We all know Rhino is going to lose because Angle won't leave TNA, and I could really care less about Foley being the "special guest enforcer". However, I'm really looking forward to the rematch of Angle/Jarrett at Genesis in January.
The 4v4 tag match is silly with that stip as we've all said before. To be honest, the whole thing where 3D joined FL should've happened a couple weeks ago instead of right before the PPV...it just feels like an odd timing.
And 2 KO matches? What? This card really doesn't give you much to look forward too...
I said it before and I'll say it again. If only TNA could build up a good feud between two of the guys in Feast or Fired and make a decent match out of that it would be better than the direction they're taking now. It seems like each PPV they just throw all those guys into some silly 15 man match because they have nowhere else to put them.
That's exactly what it is!
Put it this way, Daniels is as good as AJ and Joe but better than them on the mic = Saviour!
Also I'm curious to see if they put a legends title shot in one of the briefcases?
For those of you who don't know Christopher Daniels...
He was a big player in the early years of TNA, spending most of his time as part of the XXX stable/tag team where he held multiple Tag Championships and took part in some of the greatest matches in TNA history (AMW vs. XXX in Six Sides of Steel in 2004 is my personal favorite TNA match ever)
Once XXX broke up, he went off on his own and excelled in the X Division, holding the record as the longest reigning X Division champion of all time and having epic matches with AJ Styles & Samoa Joe. The battles over the X Title between those three was the highest mark of the X Division, and once again gave us some of the greatest matches in TNA history.
Once that was over, Daniels & AJ found mutual respect and became a very successful Tag Team, working extremely well with AMW & LAX.
After that, Daniels unfortunately couldn't find a solid footing. They tried putting the X Title on him agian, but that just seemed like a step backwards. Then they tried repackaging him into a darker character, and it started off well, but went nowhere after his brief feud with Sting. Then they tried reforming XXX which never quite got on track and then when Senshi left TNA, that pretty much put an end to that.
They did an angle at the end of 2007/start of 2008 where Daniels was fired (via the Feast or Fired Match which is happening again at the next PPV) and that allowed him to come back as Curry Man, a gimmick he used with success in Japan, and since then he has spent most of his time as a popular comedy jobber. While Curry Man is entertaining, many fans will tell you they prefer "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels.
And with this TNA Originals vs. Spoiled & Selfish Main Events storyline, people have been saying from the begginning that Daniels needs to join AJ & Joe in their efforts since back in 2006 they were the trio that was seen as the next generation for TNA in 2006, and for some reason he wasn't quite able to reach the same success as them.
It makes perfect sense from a storyline perspective to bring Daniels into the fold. I don't know if I'd call him the 2nd Comign of Christ, but his return is an absolute must as that would be a big shot in the arm for the TNA Frontline.

Yeah I went a bit ott, but this guy sums it up to a tee.
I really hope he does come back, It would be awesome for some newer TNA fans to get to see him since they have got TV deals in alot more countries now.
Does anyone think that the constant messaging of Daniels was some sort of sign?
