Don't understand why people are bitching about this PPV, it's one of teh best cards they have had in awhile. Lots of interesting matchups to further the main storyline and guess what, no gimmick matches.
If there are some run ins in the ME matches it really doesn't bother me much. This is the early stages of the feud and you really can't have clean wins to start it off. Especially with the MEM being presented as thugs who take what they want. So IMO run ins now are ok, but towards the end of this feud I would like to see some clean wins for the young guys, which I think will happen.
The X-div.Top Contenders match sounds like a gimmick match unless it's just a gauntlet match,I dont consider it really a gimmick,I agree about the rest.
Yea,I dont think run-ins are as bad as people make it seem,For this storyline it actually makes sence that MEM trys to win by anymeans and even Sting might cheat since he's heel now and so for now yea it's ok.

I feel like they're rushing both Joe/Nash and AJ/Sting a bit. I just hope we see more matches like these two, and that they don't just blow it off. Joe/Nash needs to be a long feud.
I really wish they would find something for Rhino to do, besides these thrown together random feuds. Match should be alright, thank god the title's not on the line.
Agreed, Rhino is a good wrestler and I like him a lot, but he's really not needed in TNA right now. It's almost like they should save the money. But I really hope they can find something to do with him.
AJ/Sting might be slightly rushed, but it's really their only option and definitely makes sense. Joe/Nash on the other hand has been building for almost a year and is certainly not rushed, glad their finally giving them a singles match.
Card is already stacked, looks to be one of the best TNA ppvs of the year. The only match I'm not too high on this Rhino/Bashir match... but it could surprise.
XDiv contenders match: Probably open and get the crowd going. Always fun to see the X-guys do their thing.
Guns/Beer Money: should be great but I'm not too sure BM is ready to drop the straps just yet.
Abyss/Angle: Angle's been on such a great run this year I don't see this being any different.
Cage/Book: Will be solid to great, Cage always shines at the ppvs.
Joe/Nash: Storyline wise this is very intriguing but I'm not expecting a classic or anything here.
Aj/Sting - Dreammatch for me. Sting is probably retaining but it should be a great match.
As far as the build up goes, I can honestly say that this is the best job they've done leading into a PPV. This is starting to feel like a can't miss show just based on storylines.
TNA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
"The Icon" Sting (c) vs. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles
- I said 2-3 years ago that no matter what else is on the undercard, I would gladly pay 30 bucks for the PPV that includes this match. Thank God we are finally getting it.
REVENGE MATCH
"The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe vs. "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash
- FINALLY this match is taking place. They've been building this match since December of last year. This is a match that needed to happen and as for the match being any good, Nash tends to surprise me. I thought his AGA05 match with Jarrett would be bad, and it sure as hell wasn't. It was great actually. Match with Sabin at Slammiversary 06? That match was good as well. Nash then had a really good match with Kurt on Impact a few months back. But then on the flip side, Nash has had to pull out of some big matches before: Lethal Lockdown 05, BFG05 with Jarrett, HJ06 with Sabin. If that doesn't happen, and if Joe goes over, then this match was worth it, and it'll be interesting to see what happens.
TNA LEGENDS CHAMPIONSHIP
Booker T (c) vs. "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage
If Christian Loses, He Must Join the MEM
- The stip is good as Christian (and Rhino too) is somebody that needs to be solidified in this feud one way or the other. I remember when these two wrestled each other for the IC title like 900 times back in 03 and it got boring, but this match at least has some intrigue. Should be a good match too.
TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Beer Money Inc (c) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns
- This will be a really good tag title match and a nice change from the BMI vs. LAX matches. And like I said, it should make the IWC cream their pants that the Guns are getting a title shot. This could be a potential show stealer.
THE MONSTER'S REVENGE
"The Monster" Abyss vs. Kurt Angle
- These two showed tonight on Impact that they can still have a good match with each other. The problem is that the match already happened so why do it again? I'd rather have them do Morgan & Abyss vs. Steiner & Angle just to give us MEM in a tag match or something. Oh well. Should be a good match anyways.
GRUDGE MATCH
"The War Machine" Rhino vs. "The Middle Eastern Nightmare" Sheik Abdul Bashir
- Thankfully the X Title is not on the line here. Rhino shouldn't be getting shots at the X Title, and he is very good at making up and coming heels look good. He did it for Christian when he first turned. He did it for AJ, and he did it for Storm. Even though Daniels' heel push ended up going nowhere, he did well when he worked iwth Rhino. So I think Rhino will make Bashir look good, and I think the disrespect Bashir shows to Rhino could lead to him joining the MEM. That's just an idea.
X DIVISION RANKINGS MATCH
- Oh boy. Last time they did this (Slammiversary 2006, and a similar thing in the PCS for TP06) it was very good. With the right guys involved, it could be really good. The rankings match at Slammy had six, so if this one follows suit, t'll most likely be Lethal, Dutt, Petey, Curry Man, Creed, and maybe either Tanahashi or Volador. Should be an action packed and very good elimination match.
And in addition to that, there is definately going to be some kind of Knockouts match. Taylor & Roxxi vs. Kong & Saeed in a Streetfight? That'd be cool. Overall, TP is looking like a really good show to me, with a main event that I refuse to miss.
