Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
The Return of the Steel Asylum
--The usual spotfest. The outcome doesn't mean much, especially since the wrestlers in the match haven't even been announced. Talk about a showcase. Lethal gets the win, since he's been on more of a rise lately to the upper card.
The Beautiful People vs. ODB/Rhaka Khan/Rhino in a Bimbo Brawl with Traci Brooks as Special Referee
--So Rhino has now been reduced to Bimbo Brawls. Excellent. Credit given to Rhino, who's always come off as one of the more quiet veterans, who's willing to do whatever for the company. Rhino gives everyone what they want, a Gore to Kip James through a table.
Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Consequences Creed in an X-Division Championship Match
--It amazes me that Jimmy Rave and Eric Young were given title shots, and the week after a #1 contenders match was made with superior talents. More importantly it amazes me that this match was thrown in at the last second. The X-Division has gotten that bad. I have faith in that match though, as it's gotten some solid reviews from house shows. Creed gets the win here, as Bashir looks to be clearly transitional.
Beer Money vs. LAX vs. Team 3D vs. Abyss and Matt Morgan in a Monster's Ball for The TNA Tag Team Championships with Steve McMichael as Special Referee
--With Mongo reffing this and the wrestlers involved, this ensures to be one of the most wildest matches this year in mainstream wrestling. 3D hinted at making this match hotter, if you catch my corny drift. Abyss will probably snap and bring out tacks or glass. The return of The FORK~ for 187? Mongo will still be Mongo. Beer Money will somehow retain in the midst of all this madness.
Taylor Wilde vs. Awesome Kong vs. Roxxi for the TNA Knockouts Championship
--This has a very interesting story to it, and presents to be the usual quality from the Knockouts. This could go either way, but with the way they've been building Roxxi she would seem to be the favorite. However, I don't think there's ever been a scenario where Kong hasn't been the favorite. This is set up for Roxxi's big win, and it shall happen by pinning Kong.
AJ Styles vs. Christian Cage vs. Booker T
--Surprised that the briefcase has been weaseled out of this. Nothing at stake here, except finding Christian's allegiance. We won't find that out. Christian will get the win here, and keep everyone guessing so TNA can add more curiosity to this Respect angle.
Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle with Mick Foley as Special Enforcer
--Mick Foley being enforcer for this, does nothing. He's fine in this role, but Angle and Jarrett don't need it with the way this has been building. It only seems logical for Angle to dominate most of this match. Jarrett has been AWOL from a wrestling ring since Sacrifice 2007 while Angle is currently the hottest wrestler in the company. They need to continue to play up Jarrett as the defeated old man, who continues to give it all he has in the ring. Angle wins by decision after pummeling Jarrett and derailing his comeback story. Jarrett doesn't need the win here so soon, and it should be built up so that his big win after coming back to the ring means something huge for this storyline.
Samoa Joe vs. Sting for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship
--This comes off as an extremely unpredictable outcome. If Sting wins he cements his legacy even more. If Joe wins, he dethrones an icon. This should be one hell of a match. The preference is Joe knocking off Sting, however in Chicago, a 3-Peat just seems like it's meant to be.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
My prediction for bfg 2008
Samoa joe beating Sting
This will defo. not be match of the night.
Kurt Angle defeating Double J.
Can see Mick Foley turning heel for this one.
Abyss and Matt Morgan win the monsters ball.
Abyss gets the win after using a weapon.
Booker T wins triple threat.
CC turns on Aj which allows Booker the win.
Awsome Kong wins the Knockout title.
Cant see anything but.
Sheik to retain X division tirle.
I think he will get himself dQ"d
The beautiful people win the 6 person tag team match.
Worst match on the card imo.
And finally I think Jay Leathel will win the steel asylum.
Overall I think it will defo be Tna best show ever but it will take a lot to beat wm24.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
I'm really looking forward to the show now. The card is pretty good, could've been even better but I think all the matches will deliver.
My Predictions:
The Return of the Steel Asylum - Jay Lethal
Can only see Jay Lethal winning this one. I think he needs the win after losing to Dutt and I can't see them giving the win to anyone else.
The Beautiful People vs. ODB/Rhaka Khan/Rhino in a Bimbo Brawl with Traci Brooks as Special Referee
Rhino will probably get the win after goring someone through the table. After what he said on iMPACT I can see it being Angelina or Velvet, but it will probably be Kip.
Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Consequences Creed in an X-Division Championship Match
I think if they wanted the belt on Creed they would've given it to him a while ago. It seems they have a lot of faith in Bashir so I think he will get a longer title reign.
Beer Money vs. LAX vs. Team 3D vs. Abyss and Matt Morgan in a Monster's Ball for The TNA Tag Team Championships with Steve McMichael as Special Referee
The only other team I can see winning this is Morgan and Abyss. But I think Beer Money will get a sneaky win here.
Taylor Wilde vs. Awesome Kong vs. Roxxi for the TNA Knockouts Championship
The rough cuts and build up seem to point to a Roxxi win, can see both Kong and Taylor winning though so it could go either way.
AJ Styles vs. Christian Cage vs. Booker T
I think Christian will get the win over Booker so there will be unfinished buisness with him and AJ to lead to a feud.
Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle with Mick Foley as Special Enforcer
I think a Kurt Angle win would be better for the feud and would make more sense but I can only see Double J getting the win here on his return. Hopefully I am wrong though.
Samoa Joe vs. Sting for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Not really sure with this one and I can see it going either way, but I have to go with Sting to win as it would be good for the feud between the veterans and the younger guys. I don't think he will keep it that long though.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
Steel Asylum Match- I see Jay Lethal getting the Victory here just because he is the only credible one in it.
The Beautiful People vs. ODB/Rhaka Khan/Rhino in a Bimbo Brawl with Traci Brooks as Special Referee- Rhino will get the pinfall on James.
Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Consequences Creed in an X-Division Championship Match- This should set the stage for Creed's big win. I'm not a big fan of Bashir, so I'll be happy to see Creed get the victory.
Beer Money vs. LAX vs. Team 3D vs. Abyss and Matt Morgan in a Monster's Ball for The TNA Tag Team Championships with Steve McMichael as Special Referee- This should be a brutal, bloody brawl. I see Beer Money sneaking the win somehow, maybe picking the scraps after Team 3-D puts Abyss threw a flaming table (They hinted this on impact.)
Taylor Wilde vs. Awesome Kong vs. Roxxi for the TNA Knockouts Championship- I really don't care. Good for Roxxie if she wins.
AJ Styles vs. Christian Cage vs. Booker T- I see Styles getting the victory here. No real reason.
Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle with Mick Foley as Special Enforcer- The only way Angle goes over is if Foley turns heel, which won't happen. Jarrett gets the emotional victory.
Samoa Joe vs. Sting for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship- For the love of god I hope Sting wins the belt tomorrow. Joe's reign has been terrible, and should end Sunday. I don't see Sting keeping the belt for long.
This looks like a good show on paper. If the booking is good (Which is a big If.) this should be an excellent show. This is TNA's last chance to keep me as a fan, so I hope to god they put on a good show.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
Fanfest footage is up on the website now, pretty much the same thing as the previous ones. Looks like they held it in a smaller area this time tho, the lines looked like they were zigzagging in some places.
Starting to get pretty pumped for the show, really has a big feel to it for me.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
AJ Styles/Cage/Booker should have a number 1 contendership stipulation added to it.
Will definitely be ordering this ppv for:
3 Way Dance
Jarret/Angle
Monsters Ball
Steel Asylum

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
I always like when Jarrett tells Angle "You WONT me at Bound For Glory, you gonna GIT me at Bound For Glory."
M.S.I.I. great predictions and comments on the matches taking place tomorrow night. I think the Monster's Ball is going to be all kinds of hardcore craziness and fire will likely be brought to the table. The triple main events I expect some surprises and hopefully all three deliver big. I'm in the minority but I want Sting to win the World title for the third year in a row. My other predictions are Angle wins, Kong becomes Champion again and Styles defeats Booker & Christian.

TNA has not brought up any names of the wrestlers who will be taking part in the match as of yet. You'll more likely have to wait close to the show or until the match happens to find that out.
