They also had a triple threat at Mania aswell.

Stinger- what was the four gimmick matches in wm then. i can only think of they had two aka the street fight between finlay and MITB.
|
-MITB
-Belfast Brawl
-Bunnymania (lumberjacks)
-No DQ (just the fact that Maywheater was in it is enough for a gimmick match).
I don't say I hate WM because of too many gimmicl matches. It was great PPV and all of these matches delivered (except bunnymania). I was just countering the guy who said BFG already had too many gimmick matches).
Sorry for the late reaction.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
I think TNA isd taking the gimmick match criticism to heart.
So far for BFG, there are only two, and based on what I've read in the spoilers, those will be the only two.
BFG is looking great so far, and storyline wise, this is by far the best built PPV of the year, which it should be.

Actually they've been building this PPV since VR, where Joe used the guitar. Every impact before NS and NS were all build-up shows for BFG. It will be a huge night for TNA.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
This could be PPV of the year tbh, Victory Road is TNA's best PPV all year so far.
Hopefully this can beat Mania, last years BFG beat Mania 23.

It's almost impossible to top WM 24, but I'm sure TNA will deliver. It will be an EPIC night.

I sure hope the two main matches deliver, Steel Asylum will deliver and the Monsters Ball Tag could be good.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
*SPOILERS* PW Insider just posted an upadated BFG card. *SPOILERS*
Quote:
*TNA champion Samoa Joe vs. Sting.
*Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle with Mick Foley involved.
*TNA Knockouts champ Taylor Wilde vs. Awesome Kong vs. Roxxi
*TNA Tag Team champs Beer Money Inc. vs. LAX vs. Team 3D vs. Abyss & Matt Morgan - Monster's Ball
*Christian Cage vs. AJ Styles vs. Booker T
*TNA X-Division champ Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Consequences Creed.
*Steel Cage Asylum (formerly Terrordome) featuring X-Division talents.
|
Let's hope this is the final card. No mixed tag means more time for the other matches! Looking at this card = me pumped.
