Too many gimmicks already.

I questioned this Bound or Glory show on paper when they finish setting up all the matches. While it's not the entire card, the Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett match does make me want to see the show a tiny more. The rest isn't half bad and one or two different matches could steal the show but still have doubt on the overall show. But this is all looking decent for now.

Monsters Ball is an annual tradition, so really the Steel Asylum is the only gimmick match added to the card. Nothing wrong with an X division showcase either.

WM had 4 gimmick matches on their card, TNA only have 2 so far. That seems to be the right number for such a big PPV. Sting vs Angle and Jarrett vs Angle are both dream matches and I'd immediately pay for that if I could.

The Monster ball match is still a gimmick match. Hopefully tna will keep to just two gimmick mathches.


Stinger- what was the four gimmick matches in wm then. i can only think of they had two aka the street fight between finlay and MITB.

maybe he's thinking playboy bunnymania and mayweather/big show (which was a no DQ if i remember correctly)

but then again there's gimmick matches and there's GIMMICK matches

no DQ vs. steel asylum, etc.

I forgot about them. The bunny match was that gimmicky. It was a plain tag match . The no dq was a gimmick match i guess.

Particularly because of the crowd reaction, I'm willing to bet Angle will get cheered in Chicago since the smark crowd endorse Angle's comments from The Sun.

If the name of the match is "Bunnymania", that's a gimmick to me. Had TNA run that match or something similar, everyone and their grandmother would be calling it a spade.
