Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
TNA World Title
Sting vs Samoa Joe(c) (Joe has to go over IMO, but it could go either way. Which I guess is kinda of a good thing from a business standpoint)
TNA X Title
Consequences Creed vs Sheik Abdul Bashir (c) (I really wouldn't mind if Bashir is temporary TBH)
TNA KO Title
Awesome Kong vs Roxxi vs Taylor Wilde (c) (It's her time)
TNA Tag Titles
LAX vs Team 3D vs Abyss/Morgan vs Beer Money(c) (Only other team I could see winning is the monsters but BMI need more time with this run)
Super Grudge Match
Kurt Angle vs Jeff Jarrett (I was super convinced JJ would win his return match, but now I'm slighly leaning towards Angle. The vets need to win 1 of the 2 main events and I think it's here, plus Angle's been dropping PPV matches left and right this year. He could actually use the win, with that said Jarrett could still easily take this.)
Steel Asylum Match
Sonjay Dutt wins the match and gets a no.1 contenders match to feud with Creed.
Booker T vs AJ Styles vs Christian Cage (Another match where I'm torn, for a long time I though AJ should and would win but the way it's been booked seem to have all signs pointing to CC scoring the win)
Beautiful People/Cute Kip vs Rhino/ODB/Rhaka (I really don't care as long as it's short)
One thing this card has going for it is unpredictability in the top matches, all 3 heavyweight main events could go either way IMO. All of my picks in those matches could end up being wrong, but really I don't care as long as the show delivers. (And I'm confident it will)

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
Another special referee? Guess in that match it shouldn't matter cause should be over in less than 5 minutes no matter what.
Mongo pisses me off way more, that match didn't need a special ref but I understand why they did it. You just know he's gonna get over on somebody, I'd LMAO if it was Matt Morgan. (Obviously it will be Roode or Storm tho)

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
The 3 way apparenly not being for the no.1 contender spot definitely makes Christian look like the favorite to win the match, even though I still think that's what's in Booker's case. Pretty much the same predictions as me, cept we have the two main events flipped.
As far as match order goes, I'd say something like:
Steel Asylum Match (The obvious choice to start the show, plus having the dome already setup saves time)
Mixed Tag
Creed/Bashir
Kong/Roxxi/Taylor
Monsters Ball
AJ/Booker/Cage
Angle/Jarrett
Sting/Joe
Some might question running the 3 big matches back to back to back, but I think it's best way deliver the feeling of a homerun type show.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
I think you're right on the money with the match order Taroo.
I'll definitely be dishing out the $34.95 for this. No way am I going to potentially watch my girl Roxxi take the belt on a crappy stream.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
Meh, it's a two match card tbh. TNA did a really poor job building up this ppv when you consider this is supposed to be their premier event. I mean you don't announce a match like AJ/Cage/Booker 3 days before the damn show, and you sure as hell don't determine the #1 contendership for the X-Title 3 days before the show. Terrordome seems out of place, but I'd take that over another FFR battle royal, however why can't we see Lethal, Dutt, and the Gunz in important matches as opposed to this? They should've cut No Surrender down to a 3 week build in order to give BFG a proper 6 week build. Also why not have Sting actually earn his spot in the main event for once? They could've added Sting vs AJ (seemed lke they were gonna go somewhere with these two) for the main event at BFG on No Surrender, but instead we got a lame worked MMA match. Another thing that irked is why they didn't put the ppv theme song in the background when going through the card? Tonight was the first time I had ever heard the damn song via the video package at the end. I like TNA, but they still have a long way to go and lots of things to learn about properly promoting their product.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread
I've heard that song and seen that video package a bunch of times, I'm kinda surprised that was the first time you heard it. (I'm actually kinda sick of it)
Disagree about the card, but I see where your coming from. They've definitely done enough to earn my purchase here, there's potential for pretty much everything besides the mixed tag and maybe Creed/Bashir depending if the crowd gets behind Creed or not.
