Re: TNA No Surrender Discussion Thread
This PPV has potetntial. Main event should be OK, Canadian fans will make great atmosphere for Cage & Petey, Sting will piss off some yound wrestler again , and knockouts are awesome as always.
On the other hand, Lethal&Dutt stupid feud will continue to suck. IT NEEDS TO DIE...

Re: TNA No Surrender Discussion Thread
AJ/Trigg could be sleeper hit of the night. AJ has never had a bad match in TNA (might be a overhype, but i have never been bored with his matches) and Trigg could have some tricks under his sleeve. It could be fun, lets hope it won't end with usual overbooking.

Re: TNA No Surrender Discussion Thread
Updated Card:
Angle/Joe/Booker/Cage-TNA Title
Petey/Creed-X Title (Bashir still might get added after the controversial finish)
Taylor/Angelina-KO Title
Dutt/Lethal-Ladder Match
RNRI/PJB
Decent card for the show before the big show, should still have atleast 2 more matches.
AJ/Trigg
ODB/Kong
3D/Morgan & Abyss
LAX/Beer Money
All possibilities.

Re: TNA No Surrender Discussion Thread
I'm thinking Kong & Raisha vs. ODB & Roxxi and AJ vs. Trigg for the remaining matches and I still think it will be a 3 way for the X Division title (Petey/Creed/Bashir)

Re: TNA No Surrender Discussion Thread
I really hope they let Dutt and Lethal have a real match, it seems inevitable though that Val will turn on Lethal and help Sonjay win.
Now I don't have a problem with that, but where do a heel Sonjay/Val pairing go from there?

Re: TNA No Surrender Discussion Thread
Thoughts on the card so far:
Main event will be great. You have Joe, Booker, Angle, & Christian. There is no way that match can possibly be bad. It's also a good "inbetween" main event to have leading into Bound for Glory.
X Title Match of Creed vs. Petey will be good.
Lethal vs. Dutt in a Ladder Match is almost like this year's version of Harris/Storm: Texas Deathmatch. They had a sucky gimmick match last month, SO they give them a great gimmick match this month. Say what you will about the angle (I personally don't mind it that much)
R&R vs. PJB will be a fun comedy match with some good X Division type stuff, so that'll be good.
Love vs. Taylor will be good, and if there is one match where I think a title change is likely, its this one.
As for the rest of the potnetial card:
Beer Money vs. LAX part IV: I'm all for that. I love their matches.
AJ vs. Sting or AJ vs. Trigg - I would prefer AJ vs. Sting. Not saying a match with Trigg wouldn't be good, but I am DYING for an AJ/Sting one on one match. I would buy a PPV for Sting vs. AJ even if the rest of the card sucked.
ODB vs. Kong - All over that. That'll be fun.
Abyss & Morgan vs. Team 3D will be really cool to watch.
Overall, looks like we are going to get a good PPV.

Re: TNA No Surrender Discussion Thread
I have a feeling LAX vs. Beer Money won't happen at No Surrender. I think they are building that match for Bound For Glory playing off the "Homicide's eye isn't ready to go yet" angle. Not having LAX vs. Beer Money at 2 straight events but instead having them skip an event is a good idea IMHO.

Re: TNA No Surrender Discussion Thread
Isn't it funny that we have 4 World Championship matches in mainstream wrestling this month, and none of them are 1 vs 1 matches.
I have high hopes for the 4 Way matches. All 4 are great in multiman matches, and i will very disappointed if it doesn't reach ***1/2 mark (lol)

Re: TNA No Surrender Discussion Thread
^^^ Well in the case of TNA, they are using the 4 way as a way of giving us a good PPV main event without giving away the biggie before BFG.
I think WWE is kind of doing the same thing with the Scrambles, but...eh. Did they have to do three? I mean if they were doing 1, I might be curious enough to check out the PPV along with the other stuff on the card, but with 3, over half the show is taken up by 3 of the same gimmick match that may or may not work.

Re: TNA No Surrender Discussion Thread
Well the TNA website already lists the X title match as Petey/Creed/Bashir, so either I missed something on Impact or their spoiling their own show next week.
I'm glad tho, it would've made no sense to have those Petey/Bashir confrontations or the wacky finish unless they were going to make it a 3 way. Plus they've done Petey/Creed 2 times already, but no matter what Petey will almost certainly retain with the show being in Canada.
