Looks like a very solid card. I hope there will be chemistry between Joe and Booker. If so, they can deliver a ****+ match. Ultimate X will be awesome like always.

Re: TNA Victory Road Discussion Thread (7/13/08)
Joe vs. Booker seems decent enough for a main event, I believe the crowd atmosphere will be the most fun aspect to check out in that and Ultimate X on this show could be wild.
Kind of more interested in the card of this show then I was for last month's Slammiversary.

Victory Road could be TNA's best PPV of the year so far.
Booker vs. Joe is a big match. Its a match that some people predicted would headline BFG, so that right there makes the PPV interesting.
World X Cup: Ultimate X will be good. It always is, but I'm kind of hoping they save the 12 Man Elimination Tag Match to open the PPV. That match sounds very interesting and could make for one hell of a spotfest.
Some kind of AJ/Angle match will take place. I think we'll probably get AJ, Cage, Rhino, & Morgan vs. Angle, Tomko, & Team 3D which could be an awesome tag match.
Gail vs. Angelina is good. I wouldn't be surprised if they did Kong vs. Taylor again either.
Lethal vs. Dutt needs to happen as well.
And I want to see Abyss vs. Steiner. That could be a good power match.
Booker T will put Joe over, adding to the legitimacy to Joe's World Title reign. Beating Kurt Angle, Scott Steiner and soon Booker T makes for a nice title reign so far.
Why couldn't they do the World X Cup a month later so I could witness the finals at Hard Justice in person...
Anyways, the card looks really good so far. Lethal/Dutt, Abyss/Steiner, and the 8-man tag that TripleG mentioned would all be good additions. Maybe there could be another World X-Cup match other than the finals like they did at the 2006 Sacrifice by having Petey/Liger and the Gauntlet finals.
This could be an incredible PPV. Booker/Joe should be great. A split crowd will really make this match a lot better. Whatever they're doing with AJ/Kurt should also be good. I'm not a fan of the fan's revenge match (no pun intended). I would have much preferred a strap match because I feel these two teams really work well together andcould use the outside to put together a damn good tag match.
X Cup will be awesome, I don't think there's any doubt about that and Dutt/Lethal could really steal the show if given time. Not sure if they'll shove a Kong match on here because a lot of these matches deserve time. Should be a pretty good 3hr show if they don't try to have too many matches.
