I really like that card. I went to Slammiversary last year (my first ever wrestling event) and got autographs from: Gail Kim, Lance Hoyt, kevin Nash, Christy Hemme, Shark Boy / Petey Williams (really short irl) and Dixie Carter pulled me over to her and Vince Russo during the Team 3d vs Rick and Animal and allowed me to shake Russo's hand cause I was wearing a "Don't Fire Russo" shirt. Very nice people and I would love to attend this years as I live in kentucky but Memphis is about 3 hours away and None of my friends are willing to drive me there and come back the same night so yeah =[ Guess I'll order it.
Also that's the same night Leticia Cline touched my shoulder. Fuck I still dream of that

Re: Slammiversary Discussion Thread
I think those thing will happen at Slammiversary.
Samoa Joe(c) vs Booker T vs Robert Roode vs Rhino vs Christian Cage for the TNA champion in a King Of The Mountain Match.
LAX vs Team 3D in a tables match.
Sting vs James Storm.
AJ Styles vs Tomko.
Roxxi Laveaux and ODB vs Angelina Love and Velvet Sky in a Two out of Three Falls Match.
Petey Williams (c) vs Kaz for the X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
Awesome Kong w/ Raisha Saeed has an open challenge.
wedding of Jay Lethal & So Cal Val.

-- TNA officials are cautiously optimistic that Kurt Angle will be able to return to the ring after a few weeks off. TNA is hoping that he is able to appear at the U.K. shows in early June. Based on Impact spoilers, he is tapped to do some segments with Karen Angle over the next few weeks and his planned match with AJ Styles at Slammiversary appears to be off.

Re: Slammiversary Discussion Thread
So it looks like maybe they will save AJ/Angle for BFG, I guess it's not that bad although I would've preferred to see it.
But AJ/Tomko is still a very reasonable backup plan.

Aw damn... no Aj/Angel oh well. Better safe than sorry for Angle's sake.
Tomko/Aj should be good though.

Re: Slammiversary Discussion Thread
Angle/AJ should be saved for BFG.. it will definetely rock everybody's face. Tomko has long history with AJ and reasonable in the ring, so AJ/Tomko won't be bad either..
wonder who will answer Kong's open challenge?

Based on the angle that ran last night on Impact, obviously TNA is building to a babyface AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle. I am told that Angle is expected to be cleared to wrestle by the 6/8 Slammiversary PPV, so expect that match to be announced at the next set of Impact taping.

Still on.

Well that's awesome then, although I'm not sure what they'll do with Tomko since I can't see him moving past Cage into the KOTM match.

Re: Slammiversary Discussion Thread
AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle would be a Phenomenal Match up (every Pun indended) but I still think they should save it till Bound for Glory.
AJ vs. Tomko would be more than acceptable, and in the months leading up to BFG, they can have finally have Karen pick a side (I'd have her go with Kurt just to make AJ even more sympathetic), and have Angle & AJ cost each other title matches or chances to face Joe for the title or something.
I go by the logic that went into Sting vs. Hogan at Starrcade. If you make the fans wait for it, they will be patient and pay for it when it happens. If you condition the fans to have patience, they will have patience. AJ vs. Angle is such a big dream match for TNA fans, that I think it would be great if they gave us a long old school Wrestlemania-esque kind of build for it.
I thought TNA made the same mistake with Angle/Joe. They should have waited much longer before doing the match at Genesis (I probably would have gone all the way to Lockdown, maybe even Bound for Glory)
But I'll buy the PPV if its on there. That's too damn good of a match to miss.

AJ will probably cost Tomko the match to return the favour. I think they should have Tomko VS AJ at Slammiversary to build up AJ VS Angle. Also with Kurt not 100% they should just save him so the match will be better when it happens.

Re: Slammiversary Discussion Thread
agreed with the pub. aj will cost tomko the match to return the favor, but it will lead to a match at slammiversary between angle/aj. angle will win with the help of tomko, setting up a tomko/aj feud for some time. eventually, of course, aj will come out on top(victory road) leading finally to the angle/aj feud. karen will eventually turn on aj(hard justice), costing his match against angle, and also somehow 'injuring' him so not as to make the feud seem drawn out. aj will then return at no surrender, costing angle a match and then finally at bound for glory, the feud comes to an end with aj triumphing over angle in spite of the help from karen.
that's how it would seem perfect in my mind anyway.
as far as abyss goes, i wonder what kind of impact abyss will have at slammiversary. i'm having trouble trying to figure out in which match he will interfere in, unless the match has yet to be announced.
