That's fine, but I actually thought the main event was exactly opposite. At times I felt like there was legit chances for both Steiner and Kaz to win the match.

I agree about the women's match, except for the ladder match itself.(which was awesome) LAX/3D, I thought told an awesome story. An old rivlary renewed with the gold on the line, plus it had some great brawling and the awesome spot with Hector Guerrero.

Different strokes I guess, show was actually pretty damn good IMO. And I thougt the Terrordome was like actually ***1/2 or so.

Did you actually think Kaz was going to win the match? Even if they made it so, is it any way logical for him to win? Also considering the reason he was there in the first place was to replace Angle.

I never said I thought he was going to win the match, but they did a good job of suspending disbelief and atleast make him look credible in the match. The way Joe kept getting knocked out of the ring with the end of the PPV getting closer and closer was a good way to actually make it seem possible he could lose.

But of course I knew he wasn't really gonna lose, TNA isn't stupid enough to have Joe lose the belt 1 month after winning it. But suspending disbelief is the key.

Well most of us knew Joe was going to win anyway. That was even before Angle was pulled out of the match. Unfortunately, that is part of the problem with the PPV Once a Month format. Some matches the champion just has to win (champion almost never loses the month after he won it)

So with or without Kaz the match was fairly predictable. We all knew Steiner wasn't going to win it and Angle wouldn't lose it and then win it back (it'd be highly unlikely anyway) so why not give a young guy the chance to shine a little bit?

They could have easily just done Steiner vs. Joe, which is actually more predictable, but they put faith in Kaz to have a good match and work well with a seasoned veteran and the top guy in the company.

In my view what TNA did was change Triple H vs. Randy Orton to Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. The Miz.

It was a sign of good faith having one of the young guys (Kaz) get into the main event and make himself look credible. On top of that, they still had Steiner take the pin.(Which would have been the same if Angle was in the match, so it didn't make it look like Kaz was in the match just to take the fall)

I would hardly compare Kaz to The Miz either, he beat Christian Cage in a big PPV match and also competed very well in 2 matches with Kurt Angle.

Yeah, are you crazy? The Miz is green as hell. He can only work tag matches and barely at that. Cannot compare the two at all.

I wasen't comparing them in that department. I was comparing them in the fact that the two are both in the tag division at the moment, or were in recent months.

I just got done watching the show and once again I thought it was a fantastic event.

My favourite match was the terror dome although I felt they could have given it an extra 5 minutes or so.
The womens match was great. A womens ladder match; now you don't see that every day.

I'm looking forward to the next few shows and then of course, one of the biggest ppv's of the year, Slamiversary.

It wasn't even the first time Kaz had a main event title shot. So the decision to replace Angle with Kaz wasn't that much of a stretch. Management are high on Kaz and he always delivers in big matches.
