Lockdown was good, but I cant help feel somewhat disappointed. The opening x-scape match was fun and quite exciting. Lethal Lockdown was by far the best match on the card. And the main event was okay.

I think my biggest problem with the PPV was that it was "Lockdown", yet none of the matches really made any use of the cage (except Lethal Lockdown). Cage matches should involve hardcore wrestling and blood. We only got to see that in Lethal Lockdown (Devon got busted open, but I missed how it actually happened). How come we didnt see more people get busted open?

If last night's PPV was named "Sacrafice", I would have enjoyed it more. But for a Lockdown PPV, it was actually a little disappointing.

But if you have blood and gore in every match it takes it away from the main events

It was an alright PPV, but entirely too predictable. Even Kurt vs Joe would've been better without the whole stipulation of Joe leaving and never wrestling again if he lost, that just made it like "ooooooook...hmmmmmmmm Who's gonna win? duuuuuuh". I also got sleepy watching the 500 ankle locks and crossfaces that constituted 70% of that match. The losers in Cuffed in a Cage seemed entirely too willing to be cuffed, most barely resisting. There was a lot of baby-face wins too, a heel fan would've hated it. Lethal Lockdown was way too awesome to end with only one pinfall. Rhyno hits a spear, and it's all over... WHAAT?! I was certain Team Tomko was going to win just because it was the only match that didn't obviously predict a baby-face win, but nah the faces won that match too. Too much closure.

But all the negative aside, the wrestling was incredible. Lethal Lockdown was still my favorite. The Cuffed in the Cage was good except for the cuffs. Raisha Saeed was also impressive in her wrestling debut. It wasn't the best Kurt vs Joe, but it will still no doubt be in cantidicy for match of the year. My favorite part of the whole show was Karen Angle cussing out the security escorts, "Get your fucking hands off me, DON'T fucking touch me!" I'd give the PPV ***'s. It was decent, entertaining, but predictable and not very shocking.

This was a really fantastic PPV! The build up to the Angle/Joe match from the Impacts leading up to Lockdown and on the PPV itself was just done so incredibly well. The whole seriousness they added to the feud and the championship match was just awesome. The introductions to Joe and Angle before the match was spine tingling to say the least. And the way Angle ordered for Karen to be removed from ringside just added how serious this match was and how much this match really needed a clean finish to just add polish to the seriousness. Yeah, the winner was quite obvious, but it still didn't take away any excitement from the moment Joe was awarded the belt. The guy deserves it.

I wasn't too keen on the whole MMA style to begin with, but I was throughly impressed with what they offered. Maybe they should have incorporated a bit more 'pro wrestling' than they mixed into the match, but that didn't stop me from watching from start to finish on the edge of my seat. The match reminded me of the Angle/Nagata match on Global Impact which was great. A lot of submissions and serious wrestling, it just impressed me a lot more than I expected. The "We Want Wrestling" and "Boring" chants really annoyed me. It was wrestling and I just think some people have short attention spans. That's what you want for a big PPV main event, a long, good match.

Overall, the PPV was great. Lethal Lockdown was the best match as many have been saying. I wanted to see a title change in the X-Scape match, preferably a win to Curry Man, but I wasn't really expecting it anyway. I was surprised with the BG/Kip match actually, I thought they put on a decent match. Cuffed match was OK, but again obvious that Super Eric was going to come out and win the match at some point after he got attacked backstage from the beginning. The way he managed to cuff Rellik though was awesome! Queen of the Cage was short, probably as expected. Glad Roxxi won. Booker/Roode match was decent with a decent finish. Saeed was impressive, expected Gail and ODB to win. Good match.

GREAT PPV!... SAMOA JOE, THE NEW TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION FTW!!!!!!!!

I have to say Lockdown is better than any WWE pay per view i have seen since Vengeance 2005 and then before that WM19. Keep it up TNA and remember , WCW wasnt at this stage after 5 years.

I think the main reason Joe hasn't had the title yet is because of the stage. They wanted a big stage for him to become champ on, and this is the biggest audience and PPV TNA has ever had.

Pretty good PPV. The main event had me on the edge of my seat, especially when there was so many reversals from one submission to another in the last few minutes. The way they went from MMA-Style to pro-wrestling style was really good. I'd say Lethal Lockdown was the MOTN though. When AJ put the ladder up on top, I was like oh my fucking god irl. If he hit some kind of aerial move through the table though, I think I would've marked.

and finally, Joe is the world champion. First ppv defend for his championship will be Steiner apparently, but I think somehow Angle will get involved.

Too many bodies in that ring for most of the night. TNA has the talent to put on a better show especially in the cage. The x-divison was soft, they had better matches in the past. One that sticks was Daniels vs Senshi. The super eric thing has to stop. First macho man then stonecold shark and now super eric (reminds me of the green guy in wwe don't watch wwe so don't remember the name). At least the women's match finished one on one in the cage.

Christian Cage is by far the best talent TNA all round. Wrestle entertain and talk, he put on a good show at LL.

Angle vs Joe was great. Suspense was there. Will Joe tap? Will he quit? It was all there. Someone earlier said the finish was weak because Joe kicked out of the olympic slam. Watch it again and watch the setup. I beleive Angle was thrown into the cage, super kicked and then the buster hit. Great finish and great match. There was no setup for the olympic slam hence the kickout.

My Lockdown ratings

Xscape Match **3/4 = really really hated the ending
Queen of the Cage *1/2 = not that bad
Bg/Kip *1/4
Cuffed In The Cage **1/4 = some nice spots
ODB & Kim vs Kong & Cheerleader Melissa **3/4 = good but short
Roode/Banks vs Booker/Sharmell *1/4 = same old same old
Lethal Lockdown **** = rushed ending
Joe vs Angle **** = rushed ending

PPV could have been a lot better, it was good but I expected more, especially from the LL which would have been really great if it had gone 5 mins more.
